On August 10, 2026, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia, killing at least hundreds of people and damaging thousands of buildings in what officials are calling the strongest quake to hit the country in a decade. As search and rescue efforts continue, communities across the region are beginning the long road to recovery. Find where help is needed. Nonprofits supporting Colombian earthquake relief

All Hands & Hearts has deployed to Colombia in response to the powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake. They are coordinating with local authorities and partners, assessing needs, and procuring emergency supplies for search-and-rescue teams in Pereira, including tools, PPE, and other needed items.

Americares is on the ground assessing the most urgent needs and working to get critical aid to support survivors.

Food For The Poor is actively gathering updates and coordinating with trusted partners on the ground to understand the most pressing needs. We are preparing to respond with critical support—such as food, safe water, hygiene items, and other essentials—to help affected families begin to recover.
