by July 27, 2026

When disaster strikes, people need help fast. That’s why GoFundMe.org exists: to provide a trusted place where generosity becomes verified emergency cash grants, delivered quickly and securely to people in need.

GoFundMe.org’s Fiscal Year 2026 Impact Report highlights a year of rapid crisis response and unrestricted cash assistance, as well as mission-aligned philanthropic partnerships that helped people and communities around the world.

The report highlights meaningful impact from July 1, 2025 through June 20, 2026, including:

  • An average of just 24 hours from the onset of a crisis to the first grant delivered;
  • More than 4,125 emergency cash grants delivered to families reeling from natural disasters and personal emergencies;
  • 11,473 donors stepping up to help people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives;
  • Over $8.2M mobilized and 5,394 grants deployed to support individuals with urgent needs and nonprofits empowering overlooked communities.

The report also shares the lived experiences of grant recipients and new survey findings that reinforce the powerful impact of unrestricted cash assistance in helping people regain stability after a crisis. Together, they show how direct cash helps people address their most urgent needs with dignity, flexibility, and hope. Six weeks after getting a grant, for example, over 90% of grantees rate the grant Very or Extremely helpful to their financial security and emotional well-being.

GoFundMe is proud to support GoFundMe.org through funding, technology, operational expertise, and employee engagement, helping mobilize donations quickly and efficiently while directing nearly every donated dollar to its charitable mission.
