Pandemic Pup Relief Tour

Brian Taylor started the Pandemic Pup Relief Tour to provide free dog grooming services for pet parents financially impacted by COVID and to animals living in shelters. Brian has road tripped across the US in his mobile grooming van to help those in need and has serviced more than 1,500 pets. In each city on the tour, he partners with a Black-owned pet business to promote diversity in the pet industry.

Sabrina Cohen Foundation

Sabrina Cohen is spearheading inclusive beach days and building an adaptive recreation center in Miami catering exclusively to individuals with mobility challenges so everyone can enjoy a day in the sun. The center will combine indoor and beachside physical fitness with recreational activities that promote mental and spiritual wellness.

Community Fridge Project

Michelle Nelson wanted to make nutritious foods available to help those who are in need so she installed and stocked 18 bright yellow community refrigerators throughout Philadelphia. The Mama-Tee Community Fridge Project feeds more than 200 people a day. The project has expanded and opened its first pop-up grocery store, which gives the community even more access to free healthy food.

Rescue & Resettle Afghan Women

Restore Her Voice is a grassroots effort to arrange a safe evacuation and resettlement of Afghan women in addition to providing food, basic necessities, education and more. It’s their mission to help these refugees retell their stories to revitalize hope, aspirations, and the dreams of women throughout the world.

Friends for Survival

Friends for Survival, a non-profit organized by and for survivors, offers suicide bereavement support services. The loving outreach of Friends for Survival bridges the gap between despair and renewed hope by offering a variety of peer support services that comfort, encourage and educate those in grief.
