Sometimes God points you in another direction. I learned of Isaac's story yesterday. He & his family are homeless. I've talked with his parents, the principal at his school and his counselor. Isaac's family needs help.
The school chose Isaac as one of the kids to bless during my shopping spree yesterday. I met Isaac, an awesome 7th grader, and had an immediate connection with him. He is full of personality and has a HUGE heart! Rather than spend his entire $200 on himself, he chose to bless his mom and sister with a beautiful necklace.

I didn't know God was leading me to help him and his family. But, I know that now. I want to get them a home - a real home! They have 4 kids staying in a hotel and they are paying day by day. The dad works for Uber. He is a hard-worker, but can't seem to get ahead right now. They make just enough to pay for the hotel & food. You can't rent a home when you don't have a down payment of first and last month's rent as well as a security deposit.
Here's the other thing. Isaac's mom needs a double hip replacement - BAD! She is in excruciating pain every day.
How do I know this family needs help? Because I asked. Not because they told me. This family did NOT ask for any help. After Isaac told me they were living in a hotel, I needed to know more. Sometimes in life, people just need a little helping hand.
This is a Christian family. Please see Isaac's response when he was surprised by being chosen for the shopping spree yesterday: https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/local-teen-mistaken-parkland-shooting-survivor-gives-back-community/ACVMUPKTN5GILJCZ5NDWKQXD3A/

After talking to the family, they gave me permission to start this gofundme. 100% of funds will go to them. When I asked how much they needed, this was the response the dad gave me..." Whatever the Lord feels would bless us." He told me that God wants us to give more than we receive. He also told me that I've already touched their family in a dramatic way. This has been a giving family. They've fallen on hard times. They need a hand up, not a hand out. Will you help me help them?
If you'd like to help, but you really don't know me. That's okay! I get it. Here are some other campaigns I've led. Feel free to reach out with questions. Thank you!
