Imagine a greener future, where plastic waste is a thing of the past. Old Navy is eliminating all plastic shopping bags in the U.S. & Canada stores by 2023, so our kids can grow up in a cleaner, greener world. Because sustainability starts with each and every one of us. Alongside Old Navy’s plastic reduction commitments, the brand is taking action by supporting up to 51 GoFundMe fundraisers through the end of 2021 created by young advocates leading environmental progress in their communities.
Meet our new Head of FUNcycling, Ryan Hickman. He might just be 11-years-old, but he also represents a whole wave of innovative, earth-minded kids that are changing the way we think about trash. As part of his new role with Old Navy, Ryan will be helping the brand select kid-led GoFundMe sustainability projects to sponsor.
From recycling and gardening to pollution reduction and environmental studies, Old Navy wants to uplift young activists who are doing powerful work for the environment and their communities. Could this be you? Old Navy encourages young advocates who are passionate about making environmental progress to start their own GoFundMe today. Make sure to add the #imagineabetterfuture hashtag in your fundraiser story so that Old Navy can see the work you are doing. Old Navy cannot guarantee a donation to all eligible fundraisers.
Feeling inspired? Stay tuned and watch for updates to this page to learn more about the young earth-minded changemakers and join Old Navy in supporting them.
