    Nonprofits providing relief to those affected by the recent tornadoes

    World Central Kitchen’s Relief Team is on the ground in Missouri and Kentucky providing meals and water to communities affected by powerful storm systems that caused several tornadoes and other severe weather like hail and damaging winds.

    The Salvation Army is mobilizing to provide emergency aid, food, drinks, emotional and spiritual care, and critical supplies to survivors and rescue workers in five states.

    Americares has contacted more than 60 partner organizations in the hardest hit areas and is prepared to deliver critically needed medicines and relief supplies to support survivors, including medicines to treat chronic diseases, hygiene kits, first aid items, as well as emergency funding to help restore health services in affected communities.

    Direct Relief is supporting healthcare providers across the affected region with emergency medical aid, supporting health centers in Laurel County, Kentucky and the Missouri Primary Care Association.

    Airlink is rapidly coordinating with its aviation partners to transport skilled responders to hard-hit communities, where they are delivering critical services, including mucking and gutting homes, clearing debris from roads, setting up wi-fi in shelters, and more.

    Mercy Chefs is on the ground responding to a major multi-state disaster throughout the Midwest. Their teams are actively serving hot, nourishing meals in London, KY, and St. Louis, MO.

    All Hands and Hearts is mobilizing an emergency response team to Kentucky. The team is deploying to support impacted communities, starting in the hardest-hit areas of Laurel and Pulaski Counties.

    CORE is on the ground in London and Somerset, the two hardest hit cities, working with local and state partners to distribute waterproof storage containers to help families protect their remaining possessions ahead of severe weather.

    Team Rubicon launched a quick reaction force in St. Louis, which merged into a planned 12-day operation. Volunteers are deploying to Kentucky on May 22nd and planning clean-up projects for impacted communities in Indiana.

    Baby2Baby is currently responding to the devastating tornadoes that swept across the Midwest over the weekend by providing over a hundred thousand critical items including diapers, formula and hygiene products for children and families who have lost everything.
