  1. Today, I walked into a grocery store and met Salimah. I approached her and asked if she could help me buy a jacket for my daughter. Without hesitation, she reached into her pocket and offered me a dollar. I gave her $500 to reward her kindness. That’s when I learned her story. Salimah is currently homeless, living in a shelter with her five children. As her rent went up without prior notice, she was unable to afford it, and the landlord changed the locks on her and her children. She has been doing everything to get back on her feet. She works in the Bronx at a park and is doing everything she can to provide for her children. Even in the middle of her own struggle, she was willing to help a stranger. Let’s come together, rally around Salimah, and help get her and her children off the streets and into a safe home. ❤️
  2. Today I walked into a Walmart and met a woman working there named Sharon who was off the clock buying groceries. I approached her and asked if she could help me buy some food for my baby. Without hesitation, she reached into her pocket and pulled out a dollar to help me. I then gave her $500 for her kindness, and she began to tear up and tell me her story. As we talked, what I learned broke my heart. Sharon is 71 years old about to turn 72, and after her son passed away, she went into credit card debt just to bury him. She’s struggling to make ends meet and put food on her table at the moment and has no clear path to retirement. And yet, through all of that pain, she was still kind, generous, and full of joy. That kind of heart deserves to be seen. Let’s rally around Sharon and help her retire. Do your thing, internet ❤️
  3. I met Carlos and Javier at Home Depot, and they were looking to do any hard labor for work. That's when I told them I was instead taking them to Knott's Berry Farm theme park and handed them Santa hats for Christmas! All day they laughed and felt like kids again! Then I surprised them each with $500, and they began to tear up, saying they weren't going to be able to pay their rent and phone bill this month because of how slow work has been. So I say we come together and make Javier and Carlos's Christmas extra special and help take care of these hardworking men.
  4. Today, I was in Walmart and I walked up to Randy, who was shopping with his two daughters. I asked him if a wad of cash was his, and he said no. I kept asking, and he continued to say no. I then rewarded him with $1,000 for his honesty, and he immediately broke down in tears and shared that his wife is in the hospital battling stage 4 cancer. He said the insurance isn’t able to cover it, and he’s a struggling small business owner who does handyman work. They don’t have savings and are in desperate need of a miracle. Let’s help Brigette get the treatment she needs. ❤️
  5. Yesterday, I met the sweetest family ever and asked them if they wanted $500 for themselves or would rather surprise someone in the store with it. They chose to bless a mail carrier lady, and she wept with joy. I then asked the daughter what their family’s dream would be for Christmas, and she immediately started to cry. She told me that their mom had passed away 3 years ago, and it’s been hard to take care of their little brother because of his disabilities. Because they don’t have a wheelchair-accessible vehicle and their dad is getting older, he struggles to move and take Jacob places. Their dad also struggles to provide for their family as he fixes airplane parts for a living. Along with having to be mom and dad to Jacob, who is now 12 years old and is too heavy for his father to lift him in and out of their little car. Their dream would be to get a wheelchair-accessible van so that Jacob could experience more things kids his age would do. Let’s give this family more than enough to make their Christmas dream come true! Jacob's older brother, Celso, is handling the donations on behalf of Jacob.
  6. The other day I walked into a discount store and I saw these grandparents shopping for their grandkids who live across the country. I asked them for help wrapping a gift and they helped without hesitation. I then told them the gift was for them and surprised them with 500 dollars. They were so thankful and began to cry as I discovered they were on the street experiencing homelessness, living in their car and navigating surgeries. Even in the midst of such a hard time, they still wanted to help their grandkids have a special Christmas. Let’s get these beautiful grandparents off the streets and give them an amazing Christmas!
  7. Meet Connie, an 86-year-old grandmother I met today at Walmart. I approached her asking if she could help me buy medicine for my headache — and without hesitation, she did. After seeing her kindness, I surprised her with $500 right there in the aisle. I asked her what her dream was, and she began to tear up and shared her dream is to be able to have enough food on her table and to pay her rent, which is $1,000 a month, while also having a broken-down car. This Christmas, let’s rally around Connie. Let’s fix her car, catch her up on bills, and give her the miracle she deserves. Let’s change Connie’s life.

  8. The other day, I met Dora when I asked her if she could give me a dollar to help me buy a gift for my daughter. Because I was short on money, she immediately helped me. Then I shared that I wasn’t in need and was looking for the first kind stranger. That's when she began to tear up and share that she has an incurable lung disease called COPD and that she has mold in her ceiling. She shared that her husband also has a lung disease. So, I say we come together and raise enough money to help Dora get the mold out of her house and support her as she battles this difficult disease at her old age.
