A Mother Who Had Nothing Still Chose Kindness
Today, I met a woman named Shadae in a Walmart parking lot.
I approached her and asked if she could spare some food.
What happened next caught me completely off guard.
Despite facing struggles that most people can't imagine, Shadae didn't hesitate to help.
To thank her for her kindness, I gave her $500.
As tears filled her eyes, she began sharing her story.
Shadae is a mother of a 5-year-old daughter. Right now, they are experiencing homelessness. She has no reliable transportation, no permanent place to call home, and every day is a fight to provide for her little girl.
Yet even in the middle of her own hardship, she was willing to give to someone else.
When many people would have focused only on their own needs, Shadae chose compassion.
That moment reminded me that some of the most generous hearts belong to people who have the least.
No mother should have to wonder where her child will sleep. No child should have to grow up without the stability and security every family deserves.
We’re raising money to help Shadae and her daughter secure safe housing, reliable transportation, basic necessities, and a foundation for a brighter future.
If her story moved you, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every dollar and every share brings this family one step closer to stability and hope.
Let’s show Shadae that the same kindness she showed a stranger can come back to her a thousand times over. ❤️
