Every young person deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to build a hopeful future. We are raising funds to support Da'aro Youth Project , an organisation working closely with young asylum seekers and refugees, many of whom have arrived in the UK alone, without the support of family or loved ones. These young people have often experienced conflict, persecution, displacement, and loss before beginning the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives in a new country. As they settle into life in the UK, they continue to face significant emotional, social, and practical challenges. Something as simple as receiving essential items or having access to resources that support their education, wellbeing, and faith can make a meaningful difference. Through this fundraiser, we hope to provide: Essential toiletries and personal care items. Educational materials and learning resources. Qur'ans for young people who request them as part of their faith journey. Practical resources that promote wellbeing, confidence, and independence. Our work is inspired by the Islamic values of compassion (rahmah), generosity (ihsan), and caring for those in need. While we are a Muslim-led initiative, our support is inclusive and available to young people of all faiths and backgrounds. We work with Da'aro Youth Project to ensure that every young person receives support that is appropriate to their individual needs and circumstances. Many of these young people are rebuilding their lives after unimaginable experiences. A small act of kindness can remind them that they are welcomed, valued, and not alone. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide practical support, restore dignity, and create opportunities for young people seeking safety and a brighter future. Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your du'as.
Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. Following the incredible impact of our recent Eid gift project, Leicester's Local Authority has asked the Muslim Children in Care Council to extend this support to even more children and young people in their care. We are raising funds to provide: 50 Prayer Mat and Tasbeeh Gift Sets 50 Qur'an Reflection Packs with boxes of Border Biscuits £10 gift vouchers for children and young people attending Leicester's Celebrating Success event in September 2026. This support will reach children in care, care leavers, newly arrived young people, those seeking safety, and others who may have missed out previously. The response to our last project shows just how much these gifts matter. One social worker shared: "The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The gifts were very well received and made our young people feel recognised, valued, and included." A young person who had recently embraced Islam said the gift would help her practise her faith, while many others shared that receiving an Eid gift made them feel remembered and cared for during an important religious celebration. These are more than gifts, they are messages of belonging, dignity, and hope. They remind vulnerable children and young people that their faith, identity, and achievements are recognised and celebrated. Your donation, whatever the amount, will help ensure no child is left feeling forgotten. Together, we can show these young people that their community stands beside them.
Every Child Deserves to Feel Valued, Supported, and Remembered We are raising funds to support children and young people in care across the UK by providing gift vouchers, essential resources, and meaningful support through trusted partnerships with local authorities and charities. This year, we are honoured to support the London Borough of Hillingdon Council's Kids in Car, helping to provide gift vouchers and thoughtful gifts that celebrate the achievements of children and young people in care. These gestures may seem small, but they can have a lasting impact, helping young people feel recognised, valued, and celebrated. Our work is rooted in the Islamic values of compassion (rahmah), generosity (ihsan), and caring for those who are most vulnerable. While inspired by our Muslim community, our support is inclusive and reaches children and young people of all faiths, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Every child deserves to know they matter. The impact of this work is reflected in the feedback we receive from our local authority partners. A representative from Hillingdon shared: "I really appreciate you agreeing to support us with KICA 2026, and potentially our Eid event as well. We’re so grateful for you and the work you do. Working with you and the team has created so many valuable opportunities for our young people and allowed them to make long-lasting memories. I truly couldn’t be more grateful." Partnerships like these enable us to reach children and young people who may otherwise go without recognition or support, creating moments of joy, belonging, and hope that stay with them long after the event has ended. Your donation will help us to: Provide gift vouchers and gifts for children and young people in care. Work alongside local authorities and partner organisations to reach vulnerable children directly. Create moments of joy, belonging, encouragement, and hope for young people who need them most. Every pound makes a difference. Together, we can remind children and young people in care that they are seen, valued, and never forgotten. Thank you for your generosity, your support, and your du'as.
