<div>Starting over in LA, I was ecstatic to be in a new place with a fresh start...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But on night one, I became increasingly frustrated at my upstairs neighbor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I couldn't understand how one person could possibly make that much noise. Some days, it genuinely sounded like someone was bowling!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And then one day, I saw her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>An incredibly frail, almost-87-year-old woman shakily making her way down the stairs, struggling just to take out her recycling.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Her name is Carole.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And suddenly, every noise I'd been complaining about sounded completely different.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I took it upon myself to learn my neighbor's story. Carole lives alone and has Parkinson's Disease; come to find out, the sounds I had initially interpreted as an inconsiderate neighbor was an elderly woman simply trying to navigate her home &amp; her life independently.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Talk about being humbled!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So instead of complaining about the noise, I started listening.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I started taking out Carole's trash twice a week. Once a week, I cook for her and we spend some time together. And somewhere between trash bags, meals, &amp; conversations, the 85-year-old woman upstairs stopped being "my loud neighbor."
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She became Carole.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And then something happened that neither of us could have anticipated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I shared our story online.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In a matter of days, millions of people watched it... and thousands of complete strangers began asking me the exact same question:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"How can we help Carole?"
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At first, I didn't have an answer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now I do.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is where my story ends and Carole's begins.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because the more I've gotten to know the woman living above me, the more I've learned about the life she's lived, what she's survived, &amp; what life looks like for her today.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Carole currently survives on Social Security &amp; SNAP benefits while also receiving Medicaid coverage. And despite the assistance available to her, there are very real needs in her home &amp; daily life that simply aren't being met.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I shared that reality, thousands of you didn't just leave kind comments.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You asked if you could buy make her meals.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You asked if you could clean her apartment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You offered groceries, consultations, weekly visits, special self-care treatments, financial assistance... &amp; more kindness than either of us knew what to do with.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So after taking time to figure out how to do this responsibly, this fundraiser is our answer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Maybe the woman upstairs didn't need me to complain less… maybe she just needed someone downstairs to look up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>**Note: a full itemized list of good &amp; services with prices will be listed here as I purchase them for my girl so that y’all know exactly what your donations are going to! Updates will of course be provided on Instagram @omgitsheidiii ✨

Help Carole Live With Comfort & Dignity at 87

<div>Anatoliy came to the United States as a refugee under the U4U program for Ukrainian refugees, seeking a better life away from the war. He received temporary parole status and has been in the US for approximately two years, working as an independent contractor in international trade. On May 8, 2026, Anatoliy suffered a disabling stroke that paralyzed his left arm and left leg. He was hospitalized at Detroit Receiving Center and later transferred to Optalis Assisted Living for continuing care.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div> As a Medicaid recipient, Anatoliy receives minimal physical therapy and faces significant challenges due to his disability. His left arm and leg remain weak, and he needs assistance with daily activities. Communication is difficult because Anatoliy is not fully fluent in English, making it hard for him to connect with his care team. The U4U program that once supported him has been discontinued, and navigating current immigration programs has proven to be very difficult.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div> Anatoliy's family in Ukraine is eager for him to return and receive extensive rehabilitation services. In Ukraine, he will have no insurance to pay for the therapies he needs, so the funds raised will help cover the cost of his rehabilitation at a center in Lviv. His sister in Monastrys'ka, Ternopil, is willing to help care for him. Sadly, Anatoliy has limited friends and resources in the US. With the help of compassionate and understanding donors, Anatoliy will be able to transition his rehabilitation care to Ukraine using private funds. Any contribution will help him regain his independence and reunite with his family. Anatoliy is only 41 years old and has many challenges ahead, but with your support, he can look forward to a brighter future.

The unimaginable has happened to Ron and his family. In a heartbreaking act, someone intentionally set fire to Ron's porch, causing his house to burn severely. His oldest son was inside at the time and had to be pulled out through the kitchen window. While we are all deeply grateful that Ron and his boys made it out safely, they have lost everything in the fire. Their home, belongings, and sense of security were taken from them in an instant.
<br>
<br>
 Ron has always been a pillar in the Morningside community. As the neighborhood mechanic, he has looked out for everyone’s vehicular needs, often providing transportation for those who needed it most. Beyond that, Ron is an active advisory team member for Brilliant Detroit, always eager to jump in and help wherever and whenever he is needed. Now, for the first time, Ron and his family are the ones in need. The funds raised will help Ron and his boys with their immediate needs—replacing essentials and finding temporary housing as they begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
<br>
<br>
 If you have ever been helped by Ron, or simply want to support a family facing unimaginable loss, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every bit of support will help Ron and his boys get back on their feet. Thank you for standing with them in this difficult time.

funeral assistance

<div>
 My name is Cameron, and I am De’shawn's brother. I am setting up this fund on behalf of our family as we face this devastating loss.
</div>
<div>
 On July 13, 2026, our lives changed forever when we suddenly lost De’shawn. His passing has come as a massive shock to all of us, and the impact he left on our lives is something we will be forever grateful for and truly miss.
</div>
<div>
 If you knew Shawn, you knew it was always all love with him. He was the type of person who was with you right or wrong—completely loyal to the people he cared about. He was the light of the day and incredibly funny, but at the same time, he was nothing to play with. He carried himself with respect and brought a unique energy into every room he walked into.
</div>
<div>
 Because this loss was so sudden, we are now faced with the unexpected reality of planning his final send-off. We want to give Shawn the proper farewell he truly deserves.
</div>
<div>
 We are raising funds to cover the cost of his regular funeral services, including the casket, the obituary, his final resting place, and the homegoing expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward these costs and help ease the burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time.
</div>
<div>
 If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for all the love and support.

<div>Sixty-five years ago, I went on a cultural exchange to India. Ever since, it has been my passion to help others experience cultural exchange. At present, <strong>I have invited an outstanding performing group from Poland to do a concert tour in Michigan</strong>. They sing, dance, and play instruments from the Renaissance period in beautiful costumes. A non-profit group, they have performed all over the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are doing a two-week tour beginning July 9, 2026. I have been unable to find help to pay for the motor coach in which they will travel, the cost of which is $18,000. <strong>These 33 youth will present 12 concerts in 14 days. I hope you can help make their dream come true.</strong>

Michael Watkins, my son, has been facing a difficult journey in his fight for a kidney transplant. After being removed from the Royal Oak Corewell kidney transplant list due to calcium buildup near the transplant area, Michael is now working to get on the University of Toledo kidney transplant list. The doctors there are confident that once he is listed, he will receive a kidney quickly. In the meantime, Michael is undergoing tests and following instructions from his transplant doctors to manage fluid around his heart.
<br>
<br>
 This journey has been especially tough for Michael. He went from having a steady job to living on a fixed income after losing his work insurance and being forced to switch to government insurance. Anyone who has been on the kidney transplant list knows how challenging this can be. On top of that, Michael must regularly drive over an hour to Toledo for tests, meetings with his transplant team, and other appointments, not counting the dialysis he does three days a week. The cost of gas, food, and lodging adds up quickly, and it’s a lot for anyone to handle.
<br>
<br>
 Funds raised will help cover food, medical expenses, and hotel costs at the University of Toledo, so Michael can stay close to his transplant team and avoid exhausting travel for tests and appointments. By sharing to Michael's cause, you are helping his journey to a new kidney become less tiresome and stressful, and hopefully making the transition smoother so when he gets a kidney, his body is not exhausted from all the travel. Your support means so much to us, and we are grateful for any help you can provide.

<div>Hello my name is Keianna Hundley I am the Mother of Keonte who was known as Tae…. </div>

Honoring Keonte's Memory with a Peaceful Farewell

My father, Sergii, is a hardworking man and a loving parent to three children. We moved to the United States from Ukraine, fleeing war in search of safety and a fresh start. Despite the challenges of building a new life in a new country, my dad has always put our family first, working tirelessly to provide for us.
<br>
<br>
 Recently, our lives were turned upside down. While working as a rideshare driver, my dad was the victim of a violent attack. He was stabbed 11 times in the head, face, arms, side and back, and spent two days in the ICU fighting for his life. It is truly a miracle that he survived. He has now been released from the hospital and is recovering at home, but the road ahead is long and uncertain. He is dealing with both physical injuries and emotional trauma, and he is unable to return to work for the foreseeable future. The car he was driving was also hijacked and severely damaged, adding another layer of financial stress.
<br>
<br>
 My dad is one of the strongest people I know. He has always worked hard and asked for nothing, but now he needs support. We are raising funds to help cover: - Emergency medical care and hospital bills - Ongoing treatment, medications, and recovery expenses - Lost income while he is unable to work - Living expenses for our family during this time - Costs associated with repairing or replacing his car
<br>
<br>
 Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to our family. If you are not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would help more than you know. We do not know the full costs yet, but we would appreciate any help. This incident was covered by local news: <a href="https://www.foxcarolina.com/2026/04/27/upstate-father-rideshare-driver-released-hospital-after-stabbing-incident/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.foxcarolina.com/2026/04/27/upstate-father-rideshare-driver-released-hospital-after-stabbing-incident/</a>

Ukrainian Refugee Sergii Needs Help After Stabbing

Sharva Johnson, born August 24th, was a devoted mother of two who was striving to create a better life for her children. She was known for her determination and love, always putting her children first and working hard to provide them with a brighter future. Her journey was one of hope and resilience, and her family and friends admired her commitment to making positive changes for the sake of her children.
<br>
<br>
 Tragically, Sharva was recently involved in a fatal pedestrian accident at 8 Mile and John R. Her sudden passing has left her children in the care of their paternal grandmother, who is now facing the challenge of supporting them through this heartbreaking loss. The family is struggling to cover the unexpected funeral and memorial expenses, as Sharva did not have life insurance. This has created an urgent financial need during an already difficult time.
<br>
<br>
 We are reaching out to our community for help. If you are able to contribute, no matter the amount, your generosity would mean more than words can express. If you're not in a position to give, sharing this message with others would also be a tremendous help. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support as we navigate this heartbreaking loss. We are deeply grateful for every act of compassion during this difficult time.

<div>З глибоким сумом повідомляємо про несподівану смерть мого дорогого дядька, Володимира Гуменного, який трагічно пішов із життя у віці лише 44 років.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>***URGENT &amp; TIME SENSITIVE***
</div>
<div>In Loving Memory of Paula Gnacke
</div>
<div>With broken hearts, we share the unexpected passing of Paula Gnacke on May 28th.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our political &amp; local community has lost a woman whose strength, dedication, and courage shaped the Wayne 12th and MI12GOP Executive Committees for years to come. She believed in service, people, and in standing up when it mattered most. And more importantly, these beliefs gave her hope that she would be victorious in whatever matter faced her or our community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether through her involvement in local politics, her willingness to lend a helping hand, or simply being there for a friend in need, Paula made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Paula had a gift for mobilizing people. She encouraged her delegates to step into bigger arenas, helping them participate in nationally driven events, multiple political rallies, and other campaigns. She believed in empowering others and loved watching people grow into their own leadership because she nudged them forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Paula was also a devoted Nani who cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and her family. She was a loving and dedicated caregiver to her parents, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her selflessness, compassion, and strength were evident in every aspect of her life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, in this moment of heartbreak, we have the chance to give back to the family she loved so fiercely. Paula poured her time, energy, and her spirit into strengthening our community. Your donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden and go directly to her family as they navigate this painful loss and give them the space to grieve without added worry.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If Paula inspired you, fought for you, encouraged you, or simply made you feel like you mattered with her famous phrase sincerely expressed, “I appreciate you,” please consider contributing.
</div>
<div>Let’s honor her legacy by lifting up the people she held closest.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your kindness, support, and helping to celebrate the life of a woman who gave so much of herself to others. Paula's memory will live on through the many lives she touched, the love she shared, and the family and friends who will forever carry her in their hearts.
</div>

<div><strong><em>Every child deserves a place where they feel safe, loved, and free to smile again.</em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, there are children in Ukraine who have lost one or both parents because of the ongoing war. Their lives changed overnight - homes destroyed, families broken, and childhood interrupted by fear and uncertainty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are raising funds to bring 10 Ukrainian orphaned children to the United States for a life-changing experience at Varyvoda Christian Academy Summer Camp in Orlando, Florida.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not just a trip.
</div>
<div>This is a chance to begin healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At this camp, these children will experience something many of them have not felt in a long time:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Safety
</li>
<li>Stability
</li>
<li>Care
</li>
<li>Joy
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They will be surrounded by mentors, volunteers, and a supportive community dedicated to helping them rebuild confidence and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What This Program Provides</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This structured summer camp is designed to support both emotional and personal growth. It includes:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Recreational activities and outdoor experiences
</li>
<li>Educational enrichment and creative programs
</li>
<li>Emotional and psychological support
</li>
<li>Mentorship and community connection
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For many of these children, this will be the first time they can simply be kids again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> How the Funds Will Be Used</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are committed to full transparency. Donations will directly support:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>✈️ International and domestic travel
</div>
<div> Accommodation and meals
</div>
<div> Camp program fees and supplies
</div>
<div>❤️ Emotional and psychological support services
</div>
<div> Legal and logistical arrangements for safe travel
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All funds will be transferred securely to Varyvoda Christian Academy, the organization coordinating this initiative.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Who We Are</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is organized in collaboration with Varyvoda Christian Academy, a nonprofit organization based in Orlando, Florida, led by Elvira Varyvoda.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The organization is actively working to ensure:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Proper guardianship and supervision
</li>
<li>Compliance with U.S. and international regulations
</li>
<li>Safe and structured care for each child
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why This Matters</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>War takes away more than homes - it takes away childhood.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But together, we can give a small part of it back.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even a single week in a safe, loving environment can change the trajectory of a child’s life - restoring hope, building resilience, and reminding them that they are not alone.
