Tiffany Dodd

Hello, I'm Tiffany Dodd. I've been rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming struggling Manchester cats for a few years now. My latest rescue is sweet little Bindi. A mechanics called me saying she just turned up, thin and hungry. The garage is next to a park known for people dumping their unwanted cats. I believe this is what happened to Bindi . She has no microchip and no owner has come forward after a month of searching. She is approx 6 months old. It's a stroke of luck I got her when I did, as she's at an age where she could become pregnant. Thankfully, she's showing no signs. Over the month, I've got her weight to 2kg. She's now ready for her vet treatment which includes: Health check. Flea/worm treatments. Course of vaccinations. Microchip. Spaying (including Metacam and a surgery suit rather than a cone). A follow up appointment. I am using my usual vet "Ashleigh Veterinary Centre" in Sale, Manchester, UK. Once Bindi has recovered for 10 days, she will then be available for adoption. If you would like to be part of Bindi's story, please donate towards her vet bill. Any excess funds will go to the next rescue cat. Please see Bindi's rescue video on my Instagram and Facebook (links below) Thank you for your kind support. Tiffany Dodd Manchester, UK Find me on: YouTube Instagram Facebook

A little update on Rusty :) He's been officially adopted by Jo who's been his foster carer since I rescued him. Unfortunately I'm unable to upload videos here but from the photos I'm sure you can see how healthy and happy he's looking. It really has been a miracle he survived. He has recovered from FIP but will always have a weak heart. A stress free life with Jo and her furry family is perfect. I will be making a YouTube video of Rusty's rescue and recovery. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for your incredibly generous donations. You saved Rusty's life. Tiffany https://www.youtube.com/@rescuecatsmanchester

This is a fundraiser for Habib's veterinary treatment. A white cat had been reported by locals as thin, dirty and matted. He had been seriously neglected over a long period of time. I quickly found the cat's owners who thankfully surrendered him to me. I didn't have any free rescue space myself so asked around and "Glossop Cat Rescue" kindly offered to take him in. I'm now trying to help them to cover Habib's vet costs through this campaign. All proceeds go to Glossop Cat Rescue, not me (Tiffany Dodd). Click to see Habibs story on Instagram Click to see Habibs story on Facebook I have linked the short video above that I made and posted on Instagram and Facebook showing his rescue. Concerned locals were keen to show me photos of what poor Habib looked like seven years ago. He is now dirty, matted, thin and in pain. Habib's owners told me he couldn't eat because he has bad teeth so they just fed him milk. VET VISIT 1: Habib only weighed 4kg and should have been about 6kg. The vet initially thought his kidneys were enlarged but blood tests came back relatively normal. It's now thought his kidneys just appear prominent because he is so thin. Habib with Nicola at Glossop Cat Rescue. IMMEDIATE TREATMENT NEEDED: Habib will need a dental. It's difficult to tell how many teeth will need removing until he is actually under anesthetic. He will also be neutered, cleaned and de-matted. We have estimated the final vet bill to be £1500. This includes the first vet visit with blood tests. I'm sure Habib (now called Oliver) will feel everyone's love and support. He has had a difficult life. it would be lovely to turn things around for him. Thank you for your donation. My name is Tiffany Dodd. I'm a videographer/independent cat rescuer in Manchester, England. Over the years, with supporters kind help, we have got many struggling cats off the streets and into loving homes. My latest rescue is Peaches. She needs an ultrasound to determine if she has cancer or not. She will also need a dental and (if results are clear) vaccinations. If you are able to help a little, it would be greatly appreciated. BRIEF HISTORY: For those who haven't been following her story on Instagram or Facebook, Peaches had been homeless for eight months. She was living under a bush, by a parade of shops. Because her belly started to swell, a concerned local thought she was pregnant. She took Peaches to the vet for a fast scan. Sadly, instead of finding kittens, they found an abdominal mass. No one could afford the £500 for the suggested ultrasound which would show more detail. Unfortunately, this labelled Peaches as "The stray with cancer" and she remained homeless. At the moment, she is in my care. I have brought Peaches to the vet twice now, and she is ready for her scan. Peaches will be available for adoption, whatever the diagnosis. She may have a few months, or many years. Whatever time she has left, it will be made special. She has had a turbulent past, even prior to homelessness and is due a change in luck. She is a fun-loving soul with a sweet, considerate personality. Be part of her story. Together, we can give Peaches her fairytale ending. Peaches will receive treatment at Ashleigh Veterinary Centre - Exclusively for Felines, 55 Ashfield Road, Manchester, UK, M33 7DS. All proceeds are for Peaches vet care.
