Grit & Grace Horsemanship is an emerging equine-assisted program dedicated to fostering connection, healing, and resilience through intentional work with horses. Join the herd.
Right now, this work exists through training, lived experience, and volunteer efforts — but legally, it’s limited.
This fundraiser is raising under $500 to cover the filing and legal costs required to convert our existing LLC into a nonprofit organization. This step will allow us to apply for grants, accept tax-deductible donations, and build programs in a sustainable and transparent way.
What began as Grit & Grace Horsemanship has grown into a clear calling: to develop trauma-informed, equine-based programs offered in intentional phases. Planned offerings include mobile horsemanship services, equine-assisted therapy and groundwork, therapeutic and instructional riding, educational and community-based experiences, and horsemanship-centered personal skill development. The challenge isn’t passion or preparation — it’s legal structure.
Programs will be developed responsibly, in alignment with appropriate certification, insurance coverage, and safety standards, ensuring long-term sustainability and meaningful community impact.
Our LLC status currently prevents access to:
• Grants
• Tax-deductible donations
• Partnerships with organizations that require nonprofit status
This fundraiser covers only the basic legal and filing costs needed to make that transition. No inflated goal. No fluff. This fundraiser isn’t about profit — it’s about access.
Nonprofit status allows:
• Eligibility to apply for nonprofit grants
• Proper and transparent receipt of donations
• Program growth without repeated personal fundraising
This is a one-time bridge — a small, practical step that unlocks the ability to serve others responsibly and long-term.
If you’re able to give, thank you.
If you’re able to share, that matters just as much.
Either way, Grit & Grace Horsemanship appreciates your support and your belief that healing work deserves a solid foundation.
This work has always been about grit — and grace. Thank you for helping make it official.
