<div>For those who know us, horses have never just been animals to us — they are family, souls that deserve safety, kindness, and a second chance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My wife and I run a small horse rescue sanctuary in Harlin, Queensland, where we care for rescued horses that have come from difficult situations including neglect, uncertainty, and abandonment. Some arrived frightened and underweight, some had lost trust in people altogether, and some simply had nowhere else to go.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over time, this property has become their safe haven. It’s where they finally feel secure, where they can heal, and where they are guaranteed full bellies, open paddocks, care, and compassion every single day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are now in the process of purchasing the property so we can secure a permanent future for the rescue and ensure these horses never face displacement again. Unfortunately, after a planned business sale unexpectedly fell through, we are now short on the final funds needed to complete the deposit.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are doing absolutely everything we can ourselves, but we are reaching out for support to help bridge the gap and secure this forever home for the horses that depend on us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward securing the sanctuary and protecting the future of these rescued horses. Even simply sharing our story means more than we can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting rescue horses in need of love, safety, and a permanent home.
</div>

Horse Rescue

<div>It is with incredible sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Srini Sudharsanam, the father of the boy in this original fundraiser. Srini was not only a loving husband but also a devoted father who brought so much joy and love to his children. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering support will be deeply missed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This a such a heartbreaking time for the family as they were already going through the process of chemotherapy and treatment for their 8 year old son Sriram who was diagnosed with Leukemia 4 months ago.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The sudden loss for Shaleni and her 2 young children, Siddharth and Sriram is devastating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As the family comes to terms with the loss, we want to ensure that the children continue to feel his love and support in their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised through this campaign will help cover essential expenses, including:
</div>
<div>-Funeral costs and memorial services
</div>
<div>-Daily living expenses (groceries, bills, etc.)
</div>
<div>-Ongoing medical expenses for Sriram for the next 2 years
</div>
<div>-Childcare and educational needs for Siddharth and Sriram
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dear friends and kind-hearted strangers,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our community is reaching out to you with hopeful spirits. Second-grader and Montvale Memorial Elementary student, Sriram Srinivasan has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. The news has turned Sriram's family's world upside down but in support for Sriram we are determined to fight alongside him EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sriram is an active, energetic young boy with a smile that can light up any room. He loves playing with his friends, exploring the outdoors, riding his bike, and playing board games. Leukemia has put a temporary pause on some of his favorite activities, as he now faces a challenging journey of treatments and hospital visits.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our community refuses to let Leukemia define Sriram's story. With your support, we can give this family the support they need and keep Sriram smiling throughout his journey. Whether it's for food, toys, activities, transportation, any amount is appreciated by the Srinivasan family. Sriram's mother has given numerous volunteers hours to our schools running our PTO book fair and volunteering time for numerous school activities like hot lunch and holiday fair. Sriram's father works locally at KPMG and can be found riding bikes with Sriram and his old brother Sid who is in 6th grade at FMS.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help us with your love and support for this family as Sriram continues to get treatments at Hackensack University Hospital over the next year.
</div>

Sriram Strong & In Memory of Srini

<div>Dear Family, Friends, and kind-hearted strangers,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my beloved aunt, Arlene, who has always been a mother to me and my brother. She raised us, gave us unconditional love, and shaped who we are today. Now, she is facing one of the toughest battles of her life—she has been diagnosed with stage 3 Endometrial cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The road to recovery requires six rounds of chemotherapy, each taking place every three weeks. She is receiving treatment in the Philippines but unfortunately, the medical expenses for these treatments are overwhelming, and despite doing everything we can, we found ourselves in need of help to ensure she receives the care she desperately needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My family and I are knocking on your hearts to join us in this fight by contributing whatever you can. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to giving my aunt the hope and strength she needs to overcome this illness. If you are unable to donate, we would be deeply grateful if you could share this page with others or keep my aunt in your thoughts and prayers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your generosity and kindness mean the world to us.
</div>

Help our Mommy, Arlene, beat cancer!

<span>We did everything we could, but Stitch didn’t make it. I am devastated and my heart is broken. </span>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The costs involved with Stitch’s care (Access), the pending test results to find out just what killed my baby (All Creatures), and cremating my baby boy are piling high.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support is helping me through this — and helping me get my other two babies, Marcy and Cookie, to get evaluated just in case what Stitch had may have transferred to the rest of my ferrets. I want to make sure my remaining babies are protected. They are all I have left.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for supporting Stitch and for continuing to help Cookie and Marcy. This community has changed my life. I just didn’t know there were so many amazing people on this planet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will be updating the GFM page with invoices as I pay them. If there is anything left over, it will go towards a savings account for my babies as I am still trying to find work here in Los Angeles.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Once I have stable income, I promise to pay your kindness forward. ♥️
</div><span><br />UPDATE:</span>

</p>

<p class="p1" style="line-height:normal;"><span class="s1">We are moving Stitch to All Creatures Emergency Exotic Clinic in Stockton, California, so he can receive the care he desperately needs. The doctor there will run new tests and do their best to heal my baby. </span>

</p>

<p class="p2" style="line-height:normal;min-height:22.7px;"><span class="s1"></span><br />
</p>

<p class="p1" style="line-height:normal;"><span class="s1">They even agreed to treat him while the GFM is running to give me time to get the money together without sacrificing my little boy. Seriously a miracle. Thank you to the ferret community for helping me connect with this vet and get my baby from Los Angeles to Stockton for treatment.</span>

</p>

<p class="p2" style="line-height:normal;min-height:22.7px;"><span class="s1"></span><br />
</p>

<p class="p1" style="line-height:normal;"><span class="s1">I know my baby is near death right now. He’s shaking and desperately needs the right care. I have done everything I could locally and it wasn’t enough. My heart is breaking, but I’m holding on. My boy is strong and I am doing my best to stay strong for him. He deserves more time. I need my little Stitch to live. </span>

</p>

<p class="p2" style="line-height:normal;min-height:22.7px;"><span class="s1"></span><br />
</p>

<p class="p1" style="line-height:normal;"><span class="s1">Thank you for continuing to support us. I’m not the best with words. My life has been incredibly difficult and it’s been a challenge to ask anyone for help. I cannot begin to tell you how much you mean to me and Stitch. Thank you truly for everything. I could not do this without your kindness and generosity. Without you, my baby would not live. Thank you.</span>

</p><br />•Please help my one year old baby ferret, Stitch. He is currently in the emergency hospital, ACCESS, in Los Angeles. He was fine one minute, then the next he is lethargic, trembling, shaking, and weak. I raced him to emergency. They are doing everything they can to figure out what’s wrong. I’ve already exhausted all of my money ($1700) towards the first two nights at the ER. They don’t know if it’s DIM, a blockage, or something more serious. They need to run more tests and I am out of funds. If I can’t come up with the money to save him, he may die. Please, this is so hard to ask. I have borrowed and used care credit. I am unemployed and overwhelmed. My baby needs a miracle. My heart is breaking for my little boy. Anything helps. Thank you for helping my baby.

Help save baby stitch’s life

Mushus vet bills

<p>Our beautiful 3 month old baby angora Astrid broke her leg in a terrible accident. It was such an intricate operation that required SUPER specialist treatment. Due to this and other ongoing vet bills we are reaching out on this page.
</p>

<p>My husband and I have been rescuing and rehoming ferrets for the past 15 years, we started at the age of 17 and have fallen in love with these intelligent, mischievous and playful floof noodles and have never needed to ask for help before, however with the impact of COVID and other medical bills we find ourselves in a difficult situation.<br /><br />If you are able to help, we would be extremely grateful for your kindness.
