For those who know us, horses have never just been animals to us — they are family, souls that deserve safety, kindness, and a second chance.

My wife and I run a small horse rescue sanctuary in Harlin, Queensland, where we care for rescued horses that have come from difficult situations including neglect, uncertainty, and abandonment. Some arrived frightened and underweight, some had lost trust in people altogether, and some simply had nowhere else to go.

Over time, this property has become their safe haven. It’s where they finally feel secure, where they can heal, and where they are guaranteed full bellies, open paddocks, care, and compassion every single day.

We are now in the process of purchasing the property so we can secure a permanent future for the rescue and ensure these horses never face displacement again. Unfortunately, after a planned business sale unexpectedly fell through, we are now short on the final funds needed to complete the deposit.

We are doing absolutely everything we can ourselves, but we are reaching out for support to help bridge the gap and secure this forever home for the horses that depend on us.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward securing the sanctuary and protecting the future of these rescued horses. Even simply sharing our story means more than we can express.
