Save Dr. Jones: Vet Care for a Beloved Ferret

Dr. Indiana Jones (aka Dr. Jones) is a sweet, mischievous, and very loved 5-year-old ferret. He is smart, spoiled, and always ready to perform tricks for treats or sneak into places he knows he shouldn’t be. His playful spirit brings so much joy to our family.

Recently, Dr. Jones began limping and could not put weight on one of his back legs. After rushing him to the vet, we learned he likely needs treatment for adrenal disease, along with medication and ongoing monitoring. Even though the initial visit showed it may just be a sprain, the vet recommends continued care including an implant for his adrenal condition and check-ups to protect his health long-term.

Why We Need Help

Our family has been hit with unforeseen hardships. I am on disability, and that is our only source of income right now. Between rent, food, and basic needs, there simply isn’t room in the budget for unexpected vet bills. The initial exam, x-rays, and medications already cost $400, and further treatments will add more. We are doing everything we can, but without your help, we can’t give Dr. Jones the care he deserves right now. We have been with him through so much and love him with all of our hearts. Anything helps.
