Our dad, Sigismond Plummer, dedicated his life to education and service as an educator and Children’s Officer. He was always ready to help anyone in need, believing deeply in the power of kindness and the importance of giving every child a chance to succeed. His passion for helping others and his commitment to faith left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. To honor his legacy, we are establishing the Sigismond Plummer Memorial Scholarship Fund at West Indies College Preparatory School. This fund will provide opportunities for children who cannot afford SDA Christian Education, giving them the chance to thrive academically while building a relationship with Jesus Christ. By removing financial barriers, we can help these students reach their full potential and carry forward the values our dad cherished. Your support for this memorial scholarship fund will help sponsor tuition fees for deserving children, ensuring that our dad’s spirit of generosity lives on. Hi all I am Opal Barnes from Maryland. Several family members and friends can see the sky because the house has no roof. They were affected by Hurricane Melissa. Hurricane Melissa has ravaged Jamaica in so many ways. Many have lost everything and the need is more than you can imagine. I have started this go fund me to purchase non perishable goods to be shipped to family members. This go fund me is one way that we can help to provide non perishable food items, clothing and household items. They are still without light, water and means of contacting family members. Help Save Our Family Home Hi, my name is Opal Woon. I am a mother of three children, ages 18, 17, and 3, and I am reaching out in one of the hardest times of my life. My late mother, Merle Williams, had to take a loan against her house because of medical issues. She was doing her best to pay it back with the help of my two brothers, but sadly, both of them passed away. After their loss, we could not keep up. The interest and late fees kept piling up, and now the debt has grown far beyond what we can manage. This house in Hughenden has been my home since birth. It is where my children and I live, and it is all we know. But now, we are being threatened with losing it, and without it, we will have nowhere to go. I am humbly asking for your kindness and support to help save our family home so that my children and I are not left homeless. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
