<div>Please take a moment to read this story. My longtime good friends David and Lisa Barker, formerly from Lansing, MI, continue a brave battle against David's cancer. They now live in St Helen, MI, and continue to travel for some of David's appointments and medical treatment. This past weekend he was hospitalized and will undergo brain surgery as soon as possible in order to relieve some very unsettling neurological symptoms. The reason I would like to raise funds for the Barkers is because in the past year they have had many unplanned travels, hospital stays, and medical expenses, as well as a reduction in Lisa's hours at work, and I want to try and bring some of that lost income back to them. All donations will go directly to the Barkers bank account to be used immediately towards their bills and medical expenses. If you are not able to donate anything at this time, please walk beside them in spirit with a share and a prayer. This would mean the world to both myself and the Barkers; they really need all of the above as they continue their journey to healing. Thank you for reading their story.
