Maria and Joe and family

On October 6th, Maria went in for a planned c-section for baby #4. During the procedure, she had an Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE). This caused massive bleeding and clots along with cardiac distress. Maria suffered a severe stroke. She is in critical condition and is currently on a ventilator and sedated. This is literally a minute by minute, hour by hour situation. Surgery may be required, but she is still at risk for bleeding and clots. We are praying constantly.

Through all of this, baby Isabella Lu came into the world to join her big brothers and sister! Maria’s husband, Joe, is juggling all of this and we’d love to help lift some of his burdens by making sure his financial needs are covered. We appreciate your continued prayers and support as we face this uncertain road ahead. We rest in knowing that our God sees all and knows all and He’s already gone before us.
