<div>We are devastated that our beloved Taylor has tragically passed away, leaving behind her precious one-year-old son, Israel. Taylor was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and always put others before herself. Her beautiful smile will always be remembered.

Fundraiser for Taylor Smith and her son Israel

<div>This fundraiser is for Clarissa Tullis, known to us as Riss. Recently, she went to Florida to try out for Team USA Women’s Football alongside hundreds of other women. After several days of try outs, she was selected to represent our country as a Defensive Back at the games in Finland. Although this is exciting, it brings upon an additional barrier, cost.

<div>For those of you that do not know, the women who play semi pro tackle football, pay out of pocket to compete while maintaining full time jobs, families, etc. Riss is one of these female athletes, balancing a full plate while continuing to compete in a sport that she loves at the highest level. I have no doubt that Riss would grind and find a way to make this work but she shouldn’t have to.

<div>I could not think of a better person to represent Team USA. Riss embodies what it means to be an athlete by her sheer determination, commitment, and devotion to this sport and every team she plays on. It is no doubt in my mind that she will represent this country well both on and off the field. She should not have to worry about the “how” and instead should be focused on getting better everyday before she competes on one of the biggest platforms in the world.

<div>These costs will cover her players fees, which include her flight to Finland, hotel, and food (among several other things). I am hoping everyone can spare at least $5 and help send Riss to Finland!

Send Riss to Finland

June 2020 is when we received the news of Pandora having Stage 4 Breast Cancer.  She hadn't been diagnosed previously with cancer so this was a huge shocker to all of us. They told us that it was in her bones. A month later, July, the cancer had spread to her liver and the harsh effects of Chemotherapy had caused one of her kidneys to fail. August, the cancer slowly started spreading to her brain. By the time September came she fell into a deep sleep and the doctors told us there was nothing more they could do for her. This cancer moved so fast. We thought we had more time and so did she. We thought she would pull through and so did she. <br />We would love to give Pandora a lovely homegoing service because she deserves it. She was a loving, caring person and a wonderful mom. She was in a lot of pain these last few months physically, mentally and emotionally. Physically because of the cancer. Mentally because she didn't understand why she was going through this or when it was going to be over. Emotionally because she did not want to leave her loved ones behind, especially her kids. One of the last things she said to me before she fell into the sleep was "Tameka, I don't wanna die I want to live". <br />If you would like to donate towards her homegoing please do so. Let's all get together and honor my mother and say our last goodbyes and show her how much she was and always will be loved.

<div>I started my powerlifting journey in January of this year and took off lifting! I have competed in several meets across the US, including the Master’s Invitational in TN where I earned 1st place and best lifter award, and the Raw National Championship in ATL where I earned a silver medal and pro card! I have spent thousands of dollars this year in travel, hotel, registration fees, equipment, and training, completely self-funded.

<div>Although this is my “rookie” year, I’ve earned my place and moved to the top 1% in the nation and the world of raw drug-free female powerlifters in my weight class and age division.
