<div>Meet Baraa, a 25-year-old pharmacist from Gaza. Baraa and his family, including his 8-month-pregnant sister-in-law, his mother (who suffers from respiratory illness), and his two younger sisters, aged 13 and 17, live in Khan Yunis, just outside of Rafah. Their lives were destroyed when their city was bombed in January 2024.

<div>Baraa and his family urgently need our help. The bombing not only destroyed their home but also Baraa's pharmacy, leaving them without a source of income. They are struggling to survive without basic necessities such as food, cooking gas, and proper shelter. The current conditions are dire and unsafe, especially for Baraa’s pregnant sister-in-law and his mother with medical issues. They need to evacuate Gaza to a safer area where they can rebuild their lives and provide a healthy environment for the family. Additionally, they need funds to for their day-to-day survival.

We are suffering every day from death, displacement, and extreme hunger.  Water and sewage are contaminated. There is no safe area in the strip. The houses are destroyed and the streets are demolished. Shelters for women and the displaced are destroyed. We also live in a life full of diseases due to the lack of hygiene. There are cleaning products but at exorbitant prices. Food prices have finally become decent. Additionally, there are no treatments for the patients; even for the simplest diseases, there is no cure.

<div>Prior to Oct 7, my husband and I were in Egypt without my four children, where I was receiving chemotherapy treatment for the tumor on my thyroid. Initially, I was receiving improper treatment at the first hospital, and Alhamdulillah, I moved to a different hospital for the right treatment. When Oct 7 happened, my 4 children, mom, and dad were stuck in Gaza, and we were able to evacuate them to Egypt because they had a passport. They have been with us now for 1 month. My 16-year-old brother and my husband’s mom, dad, and sister are still stuck in Gaza. It costs $5,000 per person to bring them to Egypt through the Hala organization. They are the government organization that helps with the paperwork and travel between Rafah and Egypt. Unfortunately, I do not have this money now.

<div>- $150 will be spent daily to provide the family’s daily needs, including water, food, detergents, and personal items. ( This is throughout their stay in the Gaza Strip )

A Son of Gaza, Salah Struggling to Survive the War

<div>تعرض لعملية جراحية في جمهورية مصر العربية بعد خلع متكرر بالكتف الأيمن وتمزق في الأربطة في نهاية العام الماضي، على أن يعود للمتابعة بعد عام من إجرائها، لكن الحرب الغاشمة حالت دون ذلك، ليس ذلك فحسب، تعرض بيتنا للقصف في ديسمبر الماضي، استشهد والد زوجي وعمه، وتم إنقاذه من تحت الأنقاض بصعوبة بالغة، لتتجدد إصابة كتفه ويتعرض لمضاعفات وآلام شديدة، وها هو ينتظر السماح له بقبول تحويلة العلاج في الخارج منذ أربعة شهور، الانتظار في وقت حرج كهذا أمر صعب للغاية، لذا فإن علاجه ينبغي أن يكون بشكل عاجل كي لا يفقد الحركة بيده، لكن تكلفة السفر الفوري بعد التنسيق مع الجانب المصري تتراوح مابين 5 - 10 آلاف دولار، وليس بمقدور من فقد كل مايملك مبلغا كهذا!

<div>Our life was beautiful before the war, and it was not like this before. Our situation has deteriorated greatly. I lost my friends and relatives in this war, so I decided to make the connection, as I do not want to lose any of my family members, so I will not bear that to happen

<div>We were displaced in October in the south of Gaza in the Nuseirat area. We stayed there for a month, and then we left for Rafah. We lived in tents for five months. We suffered a lot during the winter. It was raining on us, and all of our clothes and food were drowning from the rain, and now it is summer, so it is not suitable for us to sit inside the tent.

<div>In addition to our house which is was demolished for the fourth time in a row during last wars on the Gaza Strip Now we live in a very small tent that has holes However, we were praying that winter to end because of the extreme cold, diseases and pain without even heavy clothes. We were bearing that pain due to the lack of appropriate medicines. Unfortunately, the summer season was not as comfortable as we expected, but worse than winter. The sun is very hot. Living in a tent has become impossible now. We can not bear that , and if the war does not end, we will either die because of the war, or because of living in a tent that is not safe from splinters or harmful animals such as snakes and others.

<div>I am sincerely requesting your help to support evacuate Hamsa’s and Fatima’s family from Gaza. Hamsa (23 years old), a medicine student and Fatima (23 years old) a master student both studying in Morocco. Both of them have their families in Gaza right now.

Her 2 sisters Hamis, (21 years), a pharmacy student and Naqaa, (19 years), software Engineering student and her brother Hashem, (16 years), a high school student. Hamsa’s family is now in the north of Gaza barely survived in the last army operation on Alshifa hospital area. They lost their home, their car and their shelter so far.

<div>Fatima’s family consists of her Mom Samah, whom I personally know as a strong women who had raised her brothers and sisters after the death of her mom and who is a provider of her family now. 3 sisters Mayar, (12 years), Mariam (4years) and Masa (18 months). 2 brothers Mohammed ( 8years) and Mahmoud (6 years). Fatima’s family are currently living in a tent in Rafah after escaping from Alzahraa city under heavy bombing and fire. They left everything behind in Gaza, including their house and their belongings.

<div>The 2 girls are currently studying in Morocco and are working to provide for their lives as they lost their families financial support due to war on Gaza. These 2 girls are an example to be proud of, as they try to make the cause of their country Palestine heard, talk about it, and participate in activities and demonstrations in support of Gaza, despite the difficult psychological conditions they suffer from and the amount of pain they experience daily due to their fear for their family. They are even trying to collect donations to help the people of Gaza.

<div>Hi, my name is Ahmed Al sabbah , I’m a dentist from Gaza,Palestine with an interest in orthodontics , before this terrifying war I was planning to specialize in orthodontics and already had some steps to that dream ,but after 7th of October I lost everything, I lost my house and my job too ,so it become harder than any time before .. It takes to many days of thinking to have the courage for this step. But the urgency and need to rescue my family is greater than my resilience. After my little brother got injured I have no choice ,there is no other way to rebuild my life again, at least the safety for my family .

I am in my final year of university to obtain a bachelor degree in English Language and Translation, and I have spent 3 years of my life in this field at the University hoping to finish my dream and graduate, but <strong>unfortunately I have been living this genocide in Gaza since the 7th of last October 2023,</strong> which deprived me of all the rights that any human being must have and made me lose all the years that I had spent to build my life and my educational career <strong>and throw me and my family in the bottom of grief and misery!</strong>
