What they care about

Naseem Naqvi, from Punjab Pakistan I am a proud Pakistani-Australian citizen, dedicated to supporting our Pak community in every possible way, especially during difficult times.

With broken hearts, we share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved friend Shoaib Hussain son of Muhammad Hussain who lost his life last night in a horrific car accident on Rocky Point Road near Sylvania Waters while returning home after work. Shoaib came to Australia in September 2022 on a student visa with dreams of building a better future for his family back in Pakistan. He was a kind-hearted, honest, and extremely hardworking young man who always put his family before himself. No matter how difficult life became, Shoaib continued supporting his father and brothers back home and always carried the responsibility of his family on his shoulders. His father, Muhammad Hussain, is a farmer in Pakistan, and Shoaib was one of the strongest supports for his family. His sudden passing has left his family devastated and heartbroken beyond words. As Shoaib’s close friends, Qasim Nadeem, Nouman Baig, and many of his Pakistani student friends in Sydney, we cannot even imagine the pain his father and family are going through right now. In this painful and difficult moment, we want to stand beside Shoaib’s family like brothers. For this reason, we have decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign to support Shoaib Hussain’s father and family in Pakistan. We want to clearly mention that 100% of the funds raised through this campaign will be sent directly to Shoaib’s father in Pakistan to support the family during this heartbreaking time. The funeral expenses are being managed separately with the support of AusPak Youth Association Australia and the Pakistan General Consulate Sydney . This fundraiser is purely dedicated to supporting Shoaib’s family financially after this tragic loss. We humbly request everyone to please participate in this fundraiser, donate whatever you can, and share this campaign with others. Even the smallest support can bring some relief to a family who has lost their beloved son. May Allah grant Shoaib Hussain the highest place in Jannah and give sabr to his family and loved ones. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,  With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the tragic news of the sudden passing of our beloved brother and friend Nouman Habib, son of Habib Ullah Chattha, who passed away in Sydney, Australia, at the young age of 23 years. Nouman came to Australia as an international student with hope, determination, and a strong sense of responsibility. He worked tirelessly alongside his studies, always striving to build a better future—not only for himself but, most importantly, for his family back home in Pakistan. Despite his young age, Nouman carried the responsibility of supporting his parents with sincerity and dedication, regularly helping and looking after their needs. He was widely known among friends, international students, and the Pakistani community as a kind-hearted, humble, and selfless individual. Nouman was always ready to help others—whether it was offering guidance, emotional support, or financial assistance. Whenever someone was in need, he never hesitated to step forward. His helping nature and gentle character left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. In this moment of unimaginable grief, Nouman’s close friends along with Pakistani international students and members of the wider Pakistani community in Australia, have come together to support his grieving parents. This GoFundMe campaign has been created by Nouman’s close friends to show genuine love, respect, and solidarity with his family, because Nouman himself always believed in helping others. We would like to clearly acknowledge that all funeral expenses and the complete cost of transporting Nouman Habib’s body to Pakistan have been fully arranged and covered by the AusPak Youth Association Australia in coordination with the Pakistan General Consulate, Sydney, purely for the sake of Allah (SWT). Every single cent raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go directly to Nouman Habib’s parents in Pakistan. No funds from this campaign will be used for funeral, burial, or transportation expenses. All donations will be transferred directly to his parents through secure and official bank transfer or authorised money transfer channels, whichever is most suitable and efficient. We humbly appeal to our Pakistani community, international students, business owners, and all compassionate individuals to come forward and contribute generously. No amount is too small—every contribution is a meaningful expression of care, unity, and brotherhood. Let us stand united and honour Nouman Habib by supporting his parents, just as he spent his life supporting others. May Allah (SWT) grant Nouman Habib the highest place in Jannah and grant patience, strength, and comfort to his parents and family. Ameen. Please donate and share this campaign. Jazakum Allahu Khairan.
