With broken hearts, we share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved friend Shoaib Hussain, who lost his life last night in a horrific car accident on Rocky Point Road near Sylvania Waters while returning home after work.

Shoaib came to Australia in September 2022 on a student visa with dreams of building a better future for his family back in Pakistan. He was a kind-hearted, honest, and extremely hardworking young man who always put his family before himself. No matter how difficult life became, Shoaib continued supporting his father and brothers back home and always carried the responsibility of his family on his shoulders.

His father, Muhammad Hussain, is a farmer in Pakistan, and Shoaib was one of the strongest supports for his family. His sudden passing has left his family devastated and heartbroken beyond words.

As Shoaib’s close friends, Qasim Nadeem, Nouman Baig, and many of his Pakistani student friends in Sydney, we cannot even imagine the pain his father and family are going through right now. In this painful and difficult moment, we want to stand beside Shoaib’s family like brothers.

For this reason, we have decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign to support Shoaib Hussain’s father and family in Pakistan. We want to clearly mention that 100% of the funds raised through this campaign will be sent directly to Shoaib’s father in Pakistan to support the family during this heartbreaking time.

The funeral expenses are being managed separately with the support of AusPak Youth Association Australia and the Pakistan General Consulate Sydney . This fundraiser is purely dedicated to supporting Shoaib’s family financially after this tragic loss.

We humbly request everyone to please participate in this fundraiser, donate whatever you can, and share this campaign with others. Even the smallest support can bring some relief to a family who has lost their beloved son.
