Unfortunately, Casper actually ate one of our daughter’s socks which got stuck in his intestine, which required surgery. We told our girls many times to pick up their things, but unfortunately bad situation happened. We do not have pet insurance at this moment and the cost of the vet and ER animal hospital were ridiculous at $7,000. Casper just came out of the surgery and doing good so far. Casper’s surgery coverage

<div>The Collection is fundraising for the Garcia family, as they have recently been struck with the misfortune of a terrible house fire. Jose is one of our outstanding security guards here at The Collection, and most of you are greeted by his friendly face each day. His family home, which he lived in with his mother, two sisters and his young nephew, was badly burned due to an electrical fire. Luckily, no humans were seriously injured, but sadly, they did lose their puppy and a cat.

Ron Atkinson's Medical Expenses

<div>It is with heavy hearts and great difficulty that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and great friend, Daniel Michael Pye. Daniel had a very bright future and withstood the odds. Being deaf did not limit him, he was able to obtain his associate's degree from NTID and his bachelor's from RIT. He was a light in this world, now we need to continue shining his light by carrying it within us in our own lives. He is survived by his wife Brittany Pye, and two children.

In remembrance of Daniel Michael Pye

We are holding a fundraiser for Foxy, a senior stray lab that was found back in August of this year in Del Valle, Texas. She was chipped but not registered with limited info. Foxy’s story is such a heartbreaking one, as this beautiful pup was born in California and has traveled all the to the great state of Texas, only to be dumped with such a bleak outlook.  With every effort made to find her owner (to no avail), her past may be gloomy but we are trying to make her future bright. <br />Foxy is needing deworming and ultimately will need bladder surgery. However, we must deal with the heartworms first… She is on Doxy and is scheduled for her first injection this month on October 13th. We are needing to raise $1772 in total for both deworming &amp; Cystotomy surgery. Sudden loss of a loving father and partner

<div>This past Saturday (August,5,2023) the Connors/Bruno family received heart wrenching news that their Mother/Daughter/Sister/Aunt suffered a massive stroke and had significant hemorrhaging in her brain that was seen in a CT scan,she was under the care of Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton,Ma.To give her the best care they intubated her there because she had developed Respiratory failure and was unable to breathe on her own and they transported to her Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston,Ma via med flight.She was then put into the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit.Jennylee’s brain bleed was so significant and the left side of her brain was showing a Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and the CT scan.She was kept comfortable and was surrounded by her family.Her 5 Kids,Brother,Mom,and the father of her children.Monday morning Jennylee Rose Bruno passed away surrounded by her family.

<div>Bradley Odell lost his battle with mental health and took his own life on October 15th, 2022. For those of you lucky enough to know Bradley, you can imagine the unbelievable pain and loss we are all feeling right now. Bradley was so funny, kind, and silly. He loved the beach, camping, sports and music. Bradley had just turned 15, and was excited about learning to drive and getting a new job. Bradley was a devoted older brother to two younger brothers.

<div>While we are all struggling to come to terms with what has happened, words cannot express the tremendous loss and sadness the family is feeling at this moment. All funds will go directly to Christina, Bradley's loving mother. <div>Hi, my name is Stephen; I own a small business in NJ called LOJ Conversions. Before starting my business, I met Jonny through our parents at our local church. He loves his fiance and her eight-year-old son, and they recently learned that they're going to have a child of their own.  Jonny has been a career aluminum welder at a local company called Viking Yachts and has done multiple side jobs for LOJ over the years. We have become good friends through our work, and I'm heartbroken by the tragedy that has struck his family this week.

<div>On Tuesday, January 18th, Jonny's fiance woke up to a crackling sound downstairs in their home. When she went to investigate she discovered that their house had caught fire. She ran back upstairs to wake Jonny, grab her son, and rush out of the house. Jonny did his best to find his two dogs but could only find one of them before abandoning the home. He spent the last day in the hospital being treated for smoke inhalation and other minor injuries.

<div>The fire completely destroyed their home, both of their cars, and took the life of one of their dogs. They've been left with nothing and are praying for a miracle to help get them back on their feet. Help Jonny Rebuild His Home!

<div>That’s exactly the case for Stanley, an adorable, seven-year-old Jack Russell mix, who can no longer poop like a normal dog because of a <strong>perineal hernia (near his butthole)</strong>. Stanley keeps trying to poop and it simply makes it worse. The hernia essentially “blew a gasket” and created a “side hole” in the rectum for Stanley’s poop to fall into (instead of coming out of his anus).

Beloved Pup Stanley Needs Surgical Hernia Repair

<div>From the day we first rescued Tanner, an 8 year old shepherd mix, from a shelter in Louisiana after him being a 3-time stray/rescue, our dog has faced several medical challenges including skin/grass allergies, degenerative myopia in both eyes, arthritis, and PTSD. We unfortunately were unable to get a record of his medical history or know what may have happened to him prior to his adoption.

<div>Regardless of the difficulties Tanner has faced, he has never been anything but the sweetest, most loyal dog a person could ask for, and has remained our companion through some of the hardest times over the last 5 years. He's been mainly a great source of comfort to Jennifer (as she was the one who saw something in him), and we have done our very best to give him a comfortable, happy life in return.

<div>About a month and a half ago, Tanner experienced a sneezing episode (due to his allergies) which led him to banging his head too hard on our wooden floor. The impact caused his left eye to immediately become cloudy with some swelling. He then was taken to a regular Vet and was prescribed Tobramycin to reduce the swelling and aid the blurry vision he was experiencing. The Vet was confident that the medicine would treat his left eye and that he would be able to recover just fine after a couple more weeks.

</div>

</div>


<div>However, only two days after starting the prescription, our poor Tanner faced another nightmare. He went outside to do his business at night and sadly did not see a stray cat come towards him on the side where his bad eye was. When he turned to his side to see what was coming towards him, his cone that he was wearing for recovery purposes must’ve spooked the cat to the point she had scratched him right in the bad eye.

</div>

<div>The scratch caused his left eye to swell with excessive pressure, appearing as if his eye was ready to come out of the socket. It was extremely painful for Tanner because the pressure on the eye would not stop building. He was rushed to the Veterinary Ophthalmologist at Central Texas Veterinary Emergency Hospital and was diagnosed with lens luxation* and glaucoma. At that point, surgery to have the eye removed was the only solution to restoring Tanner’s quality of life, and of course, we went for it with the support of two separate but incredibly expensive payment plans.

</div>

<div>From this point on, Tanner will need to continue to be on a few types of medications in order to maintain his right existing eye. This is because the Ophthalmologist shared that it is very likely that he can experience lens luxation* and a build-up of glaucoma in the right eye, especially if we do not maintain it with medication. It will also control the pressure levels of the existing eye for the rest of his life.

</div>

<div>The cost of the emergency visits, checkup visits, lab analyses, pain medications, maintenance drugs, and surgery came to a total of over $4,000. However, this total will not be all as we will need to continue paying for his medication refills along with purchasing visual aids such as a halo vest/harness (to protect him from further harm such as running into things he cannot see), hallway floor lighting, and other noise-makers for him to be able to easily find certain places/bowls.

<div>It’s more than we could ever hope to afford on our own together, but we can't possibly put a price tag on Tanner's health and well-being. He's the sweetest dog there is, and we all know that he never asked for this, or any of his other medical problems, to happen to him. This is simply the bad hand he was dealt in life and we want to do everything we can to help him get through this with as little suffering as possible. We owe him that much, and more.

<div>With that said, we humbly are needing to do something we never imagined doing which is to turn to our community for help with this. With great appreciation for any donation toward the cost of the surgery Tanner desperately needs, and the relief he deserves. <div><br />*Lens luxation - The crystalline lens is found located behind the pupil where it helps to direct light rays onto the retina, and as a result, a visual image is formed. However, lens lunation means that the lens has fallen into the back of the eye or has slipped into the front of the eye – where it becomes stuck between cornea and iris. This usually causes acute pain and vision loss, hence the blue coloring of the eye indicating soreness.

Tanner Has Lost Sight of His Life - Please Help.

<p>My name is Thom Kelley. I've come here today desperately hoping that you will join with my family, our extended family, and our friends as we rally around my brother Sean, his wife Mandy, and their family to support them during this very scary and traumatic time for them and their daughter Bria.
</p>

<p><br />Less than two weeks ago, my beautiful, brave and brilliant then-9-year-old niece was awaiting her 10th birthday to arrive on September 11th. She woke one morning feeling a bit sluggish and noticed a weird lump on the side of her face. She showed it to her Mom Mandy and Dad Sean, asking, "Do I have Cancer?" While they were obviously very concerned, they told her that they didn't know what the lump was and proceeded to take her to the hospital immediately.
</p>

<p><br />The news they received and the time that has passed since have been every parent's worst nightmare come true. Bria was admitted, thoroughly tested and placed in the ICU. Sean and Mandy were blindsided to learn that she had Stage 3 Lymphoma. The medical team removed and biopsied two smaller tumors on the side of her neck, and put a port in her chest, administering the strongest dose of chemotherapy allowable. They placed her on dialysis as well, because her kidneys were only functioning at 25-30%. She also had fluid building in her lungs. It gets worse from there. As Lymphoma and Leukemia are very closely related, the medical team took marrow from each of Bria's hips to test for the latter. I'm sorry to report that she indeed has both Lymphoma and Leukemia.
</p>

<p><br />This wonderful child is the youngest member of our extended family and she is the apple of our eyes. She is brilliant, beautiful, and bad-ass! Even with the godawful amount of stress and scariness when her parents and the doctors and counselors informed Bria of the results, she told her mom, “I’m gonna kick cancer’s ass.” This is not a girl who is inclined or allowed to use foul language, but she gets a pass on this one. If anyone can beat this by sheer determination and force of will it’s our Bria. This is a girl who taught herself how to be a contortionist in her spare time!
</p>

<p><br />We Kelleys are a proud and honest family who would never dream of asking for help or donations except in the rarest and most terrible of circumstances. The good news is that children have around a 90% chance of beating these invasive diseases. Bria, her parents and her brother Ryan are beginning the journey to recovery, and it is going to be a long and difficult road. She will need weekly chemotherapy for at least 1.5-2 years. Sean, Mandy and Ryan will spare no expense and go hungry to help Bria battle this. We cannot let them starve or go bankrupt while they do everything possible to help their little girl.
</p>

<p><br />Many people are out of work, there is a pandemic, and the economy is in shambles. I know this is a hard ask. Nonetheless, I implore you to please donate anything you can towards Bria's medical and living expenses.
</p>

<p><br />Sean and I were raised by our own Ma and Dad to be honest, hardworking men. I give you my word of honor, and I speak for Sean in giving his: Every penny raised here will go directly to Bria's Battle. Nothing will be misspent or used for other purposes. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and our entire family does as well.

Bria's Battle against Lymphoma & Leukemia

January 1, 2021<br /><br /> Dear Friends, Family, and Chosen Family members of MateoLuis Ruiz-Williams,<br /><br /> On New Year’s eve, as MateoLuis slept soundly, their house somehow caught on fire. The cause at this time is unknown. It was his faithful dog, Rosco, who roused MateoLuis, saving them both. MateoLuis dashed out of the house with only the clothes on their back and dashed back in to grab a phone in order to call 911.<br /><br /> As MateoLuis recounted the surreal experience, they were on the phone with 911 at midnight in utter shock watching the house burn while seeing celebratory fireworks being shot off for New Year’s. We all know that 2020 was a hard year all around, yet, no one can ever anticipate literally seeing 2020 end in flames as MateoLuis did.<br /><br /> Sadly, they lost everything in the fire. He is still not being allowed to go back to the house at this time. After being released from the hospital, MateoLuis had to go to the store to get clothes, shoes, and toiletries. Rosco had a bad cough from smoke inhalation but seems to be ok now. Thankfully both MateoLuis and Rosco are safe right now, most things are replaceable, lives are not.<br /><br /> Not only did MateoLuis lose his home, but they also lost all of the items used in their Reiki and energy medicine work, the laptop used for virtual sessions, all clothing, food, truck keys,  and everything else you could possibly imagine that one would use in their day-to-day living. Plus, MateoLuis is uninsured so the ambulance ride and the emergency room bills are anticipated costs as well.<br /><br /> MateoLuis has given so much of themself through their energy medicine work with the DHHDB, LGBTQ, BIPOC, and CODA communities worldwide. Now it is our chance to surround MateoLuis with love, light and support as they begin the hard process of rebuilding. If you are able to donate even $1 or $5, it would be greatly appreciated. Help MateoLuis Rebuild

As you are all aware, we unexpectedly lost my father, Carl J. Scarna, on Sunday, June 30, 2019. What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock. Carl was a dedicated, loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all, but his memory will live on forever.<br /><br />We have received numerous emails, texts, and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to offer a place for donations to be left.<br /><br />With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are hoping to raise money for our family to help with the expense of the funeral service and cremation.<br /><br />It is in these times of loss and sadness when you see people coming together to help one another make it through the difficult times.
