Stop McDonald's 24-hour 'hot food' licence - protect Fulham!

Donation protected
We need your help to stop a 24/7 fast food licence in Fulham.

McDonald’s, 312 North End Road, has applied for a ‘hot food’ licence (not alcohol) to stay open 24 hours a day, and to deliver 24/7. For the H&F legal licensing hearing, we will be instructing a leading licensing barrister to represent us. All donations will directly support legal fees. It’s not cheap, but going up against BigMac McDonald’s requires the strongest legal support. Granting this licence would set a damaging precedent, encouraging other applications for late-night businesses across Fulham and threatening the peace and safety of our Fulham neighbourhoods.

Residential Fulham Broadway is at huge risk; 24/7 rapid response delivery hubs for West London will be coming your way unless we act NOW!

- Noise & disruption – More late-night delivery drivers speeding through residential roads will disturb families, shift workers, essential health workers, and our community.

- Crime & anti-social behaviour – The hours after midnight see higher street crime. McDonald’s is the epicentre of the only Met Police ‘crime hot spot’ in Fulham; problems at and around 312 North End Road are unending. More after-midnight food outlets mean more disturbances, loitering, increased crime and safety risks.

- Quality of life – Our children, elderly residents, and even our pets need a peaceful night’s sleep.

- Do you realise that McDonald’s Piccadilly must close just before midnight?

Granting this 24/7 licence would set a concerning and dangerous precedent that could open the floodgates for similar 24-hour applications across Fulham—not just North End Road—altering the character and safety of our Fulham neighbourhoods, such as Parsons Green and the New King’s Road up to Eel Brook Common.

Our goal is your goal!

Midnight closing is enough for McDonald’s in Fulham.

Your donation will help us ensure that we present the strongest, most professional case at the Hammersmith & Fulham Licensing hearing on 28 May 2025. Only finely tuned technical legal arguments relating to the Licensing Act 2003 will defeat this 24/7 licensing application. Your donation today will help us fund the right licensing barrister.

We need to work together, now. We have fewer than 30 days to make a difference for our families, neighbours and even our pets!

Thousands of residents love their little global village - Fulham, in this great city - London!

Thank you for joining us to protect Fulham’s residential future.

We are FulhamTogether

Earlier this year, we started an informal Action Group, FulhamTogether, to represent Fulham residents in matters of licensing and planning.

We aim to be THE STRONG voice for residents’ interests. We are volunteering our time to scrutinise key licensing and planning applications, and develop strategies to both enhance and preserve our historic Victorian, densely residential Fulham streetscape.

We already work with established road associations, road WhatsApp groups, the Met Police, and other recognised amenity groups who care about Fulham.
