Dear Sardiners &West Villagers,
I hope this note finds all of you stable and calm, and alongside someone you love.
This message is coming to you from the front and back of house staff members at Bar Sardine. We are here, because we know how much love and compassion you have all brought into what we think of as a second home, and we hope to get that ball rolling again as soon as we can once again live in physical harmony.
The fact is we are unable to safely do our jobs at this time. Another fact is the nature of our industry isn’t built for a stop and future continuation of operations on a day’s notice. We try to hold ourselves as professionals within the hospitality industry, which has resulted in full and sudden loss of income for almost all of us.
While there are resources many of us are trying to utilize, like unemployment benefits, many of us are still in jeopardy—
We humbly ask for the support of our community, friends, and family. If you can not give, know that we are thankful for your thoughts. If you can give, give whatever you’re comfortable with. The future is indefinite, and any bit of support will help us come together to build a more stable future.
We truly can not wait to exercise our solidarity, and come back stronger than ever. We love you and we'll see you soon.
