Joseph Leonard Staff Relief Fund

Dear Neighbors and Friends,
With the unexpected descent of COVID-19, the staff of Joseph Leonard has found themselves without jobs within a few days time. Because working in hospitality requires us to make human to human interactions, we are unable to practice our craft safely in times of social distancing and quarantines.
There are some tools that our communities and government have made accessible to us, but those resources are met with challenges as there are a high volume of applicants in this time. We have decided to follow suit with our Happy Cooking Hospitality sister restaurants and create a GoFundMe that can help each of us sustain life during these uncertain and unprecedented times. We are collecting funds through this GoFundMe with a goal of raising $15,000, which will be distributed equally amongst the staff of Joseph Leonard once the goal is met. Any amount that you can share would help our West Village family immensely.
We hope our home will reopen soon, full of good spirits, clever chalkboards, magical dance parties, the smell of brussels sprouts permeating the air, and cocktail shakers shaking to the beat of Janet singing “Together Again” on the stereo!
