Ramadan 2026 Fundraiser V — AMINA Non-Profit

My name is Zizi Makki, and I am the founder of AMINA (A Multipurpose Islamic Networking Association), a women-led nonprofit rooted in faith, sisterhood, and service.

What began as a small Quran study circle has grown into a global community of thousands of women committed to living Islam through action. For the past four consecutive years, AMINA has led Ramadan fundraising initiatives to provide food, essential aid, and relief to families facing hardship across the world. In May 2024, this work officially became a registered nonprofit, allowing us to expand our reach and impact even further.

This Ramadan 2026, we continue that legacy with a broader vision.

Our mission this year is to support communities both in the United States and overseas, ensuring that vulnerable families receive nourishment, dignity, and care during the holiest month of the year. While our work is rooted in Islamic values, our aid extends to all people in need, regardless of background, as compassion is at the heart of our faith.
