Introducing AMINA Non-Profit: Spreading Light Through Charity

My name is Zizi Makki, and I lead a dedicated Quran Study group that brings together women from diverse backgrounds, fostering faith, sisterhood, and service to our communities. Through this initiative, we have built a powerful network of women committed to making a real impact spiritually and through charitable action.

For four years, AMINA (A Multipurpose Islamic Networking Association) Nonprofit has successfully organized Ramadan fundraising efforts, ensuring food reaches those in need worldwide. What started as a small effort has now developed into something greater; AMINA officially became a nonprofit in May 2024. This Ramadan 2025 marks our fourth consecutive year of fundraising to provide meals and essential aid to individuals and families facing hardship.

This year, we are expanding our reach, aiming to help people in the United States and overseas, a global initiative. Our mission is not just to assist Muslims but to extend the compassion and values of Islam to all, spreading light through generosity and action. Every donation is transparently documented through video reels on the @aminanonprofit Instagram page, ensuring real-time updates on the impact of your contributions.
