Belle (and Belle's mom, Amanda) here.
For the past year, we have seen Tony in downtown Bethesda, sitting just outside of the parking garage entrance and asking for help. He always smiles at us, even when the day seems hard for him. Most of the time we don’t have cash to give, but this weekend, Belle remembered her wallet and proudly gave him two dollars.
It made us think: If just one little act of kindness could make a difference, what could happen if we all came together?
That’s why we wanted to start this GoFundMe for Tony.
We don’t know everything about his story, but we know that he’s our neighbor. We know that he’s kind. And we know that he could use support. *We also confirmed that he would really appreciate our help.
This is a way for our community to show up for him—not just with small change, but with love and generosity that can help him get what he needs.
If you can, please give. Every dollar matters, and together we can make a big difference for Tony.
Thank you,
Belle & Amanda
