Emergency Relief for Venezuela Earthquake Victims

I'm Terry, Michael's dad, and my son is withering away right in front of me.  It pains me to know that instead of watching my son grow, learn and blossom into an independent young man, I will have to watch him regress, become wheelchair bound and slowly lose all functionality of his body and mind. <strong>We need your help to change his future. <br /></strong><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/39019500_1557118736291553_r.jpeg" alt="39019500_1557118736291553_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Michael was born one week before Christmas (he was actually due to be born on December 25) an early Christmas gift that we had all anxiously been waiting for. He was perfect, 10 fingers, 10 toes and big blue eyes, what else could we ask for. He was a WWII veteran and public servant who served others at every opportunity. My aunt was always the first person to show up for others in good and bad times. She was a musician, a hostess, and a source of comfort for her entire community. </span>

<div><strong style="color:inherit;">Alzheimer's took so much from both of them towards the end of their lives, and that is why I'm raising money for the Alzheimer's Association.</strong>

<div>No family should have to watch their loved ones' memories disappear before their eyes. No one should have to experience the cruel reality of forgetting their own children, their life's work, or who they are. Yet right now, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's, and millions more family member caregivers are watching, heartbroken and exhausted.

The Alzheimer's Association is funding breakthrough studies that are getting us closer to treatments, better care, and ultimately, a cure.
