Kids Help Phone

You Shine Foundation was developed in Vancouver BC, Canada, in 2015.

On Jun 30, the Lytton wildfire destroyed 90% of the village, lots of people lost their homes. They need our help!

The purposes of You Shine foundation are to:

• Provide students with opportunities to volunteer for social causes.
• Promote not only academic success, but more importantly the spiritual growth and social responsibility of students through participation in volunteer work, charity events, and workshop attendance.
• Provide a forum for youth leaders from all over the world to present their own culture, exchange ideas and develop a goal-oriented mindset.

What You Shine Foundation do:

• We arrange volunteering events for motivated students who want to give back to the community
• We award scholarships to students who are passionate about volunteering
• We provide donations to organizations that perform charitable work for their communities

There is no doubt that the pandemic has had an impact on the mental well-being for so many Canadians.  I have been privileged to be able to manage my health through regular exercise and other resources. But not everyone has the same support.

I would like to use my newfound fitness to help raise money to benefit Kids Help Phone, by completing the 5 hour (virtual) challenge up the Haleakala volcano in Maui.  I hope you are able to contribute this important cause. Thank you!

Hi!  We are two active, determined and, passionate teenagers who want to spread awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health. On Monday November, 16th we are going to partake in walking a full marathon.  We are trying to make a difference and anything helps.  We have decided to donate all the proceeds that we raise to Kids Help Phone, to support children who need someone to talk to.
