Help Cure Alzheimer's and Witness A Triathlon World Record!
*No edits were made to the pictures above... only minor touch-ups.* *
In case you missed it, last year I ran the Boston Half Marathon and probably got the world record (don't even THINK about fact-checking).
We're doing it again, but now it's a triathlon and we're supporting Alzheimer's research.
On September 14th, Westport will:
- Mistake a humble Italian man for a dolphin as he soars through the open swim.
- Assume he's using a motorcycle for the bike ride given superhuman speed.
- Not be able to believe he's not using Heelys during the run.
Even better news: you can support the Cure Alzheimer's Fund (Alzheimer’s Disease Research Foundation) !!
Cure Alzheimer's is an incredible non-profit working to fund the most promising research aimed at preventing, slowing, or reversing Alzheimer's disease.
3 (+1) ways your contribution will help:
- Funding cutting-edge research led by globally renowned scientists in the field.
- Supporting the continuation of projects that have had to be halted in the past months.
- Supporting clinical trials aimed at developing new treatments for Alzheimer’s patients.
- Making Matteo Cagliero the triathlon world record holder (optional).
If any of these seem like something you would be willing to support, any donation, no matter the size (!!), means the world.
What is Alzheimer's?
Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive brain disorder that slowly destroys memory, thinking skills, and eventually takes away the ability to recognize one's family members or loved ones.
There is currently no cure. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to breakthroughs in prevention, treatment, and ultimately, a cure.
Thank you so much for your support, in whatever form that may be.
Please reach out if you have any questions!
*For legal purposes, I have to say that they are indeed edited. Shocker.
