<div>I am Jeff Metcalf. My son, <strong>Austin Metcalf, was tragically stabbed today at a school track meet</strong>. They were not able to save him. He was a bright young man with a great future ahead of him. He was a leader of men. His smile would light up the room. His passion for football was unbelievable. Voted team MVP this past season and carried a 4.0 GPA. He was looking forward to taking his game to the next level. His commitment, dedication, leadership, and sheer grit made him rise to the level of success that he desired. His twin brother, Hunter, played beside him. We will all remember him for the way he impacted others' lives. I love you forever, son. It's not goodbye, it's see you later. God will take care of us till we meet again. RIP. Love, Dad

</div>

<div>Help Adam Gutierrez Rebuild His Life After Unimaginable Neglect

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Imagine being left behind, unable to move, completely abandoned by those you trusted most. That's the heartbreaking reality of Adam Gutierrez, a 35-year-old young man with cerebral palsy and severe scoliosis, who was recently found alone in an empty apartment after his family moved out and left him behind during an eviction.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Adam, who is wheelchair-bound and unable to care for himself, was discovered only when the apartment complex staff checked the unit. He was rushed to the hospital, treated, and then placed in a skilled nursing facility- but with nothing more than the clothes on his back. He has no family, no resources, and no one to visit him.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Before his life took this devasting turn, Adam was on track to go to college, determined to build a future despite his challenges. Now, he's fighting to start over- with no essentials, no technology to continue his education, and no support system to help him move forward.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Adam is an incredibly bright, kind, and motivated young man who deserves a second chance.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Here's how you can help:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Donate: We are raising funds to provide Adam with clothing, personal hygiene items, and assistive technology that can help him regain independence and pursue his education.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Send supplies: If you'd like to send basic essentials (clothes, toiletries, blankets, snacks etc.), we can provide a wishlist and drop off location.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Visit &amp; Encourage: Adam has no visitors and no support system. If you are in the area and can stop by just to talk with him, it would mean the world.

<div>Help Us Support Alexia Rosales’ Family
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Yesterday, we experienced an unimaginable loss. Alexia Rosales, a beloved teacher at Excelled Montessori, tragically passed away in an accident at our school. Alexia wasn’t just a teacher—she was family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Her smile lit up every room, and her laughter brought so much joy to our days. She had a special way of connecting with everyone—making you feel seen, heard, and valued. Watching her with the kids was something truly special. She loved each child as if they were her own, pouring her heart into every moment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re heartbroken. Losing Alexia feels like losing a part of ourselves. Her warmth, kindness, and energy will always stay with us, but the void she leaves behind is immense.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re coming together to support her family during this incredibly difficult time. Your donations will help with funeral costs and give her loved ones one less thing to worry about as they grieve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If Alexia ever touched your life, or even if you simply want to show your support, we would deeply appreciate anything you can give. Let’s honor Alexia’s memory by coming together as a community, just as she always would have.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for keeping her family in your thoughts and for your kindness during this heartbreaking time.
</div>
<div>100% of the collected funds will be used for funeral expenses.
</div>

Remembering Alexia's Joyful Spirit

<div>We are heartbroken to share the sudden passing of Julie Marie Butcher, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, who left us unexpectedly last night at the age of 31. Julie was a dedicated General Manager at Papa John’s in New Braunfels, admired for her strong work ethic and commitment to her job.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She leaves behind her devoted husband, Michael Butcher, and their four precious children - who are now faced with an overwhelming loss. Julie is also survived by her loving father, David Delgado, who, along with the rest of her family, is grieving this tragic departure. Julie now joins her mother, Maria Delgado, who has passed before her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Julie was known not only for her hard work but also for her selflessness, always placing the needs of others first. As her family navigates this difficult time, we humbly ask for your support to help cover funeral expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” —Psalm 34:18
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated as we honor Julie’s memory and support her family in this time of need. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

<div><strong>My name is Dominece and my only baby brother Medrick Burnett Jr., AKA "Meddy," who plays college football for Alabama AAMU #51,</strong> was playing in the Magic City game on October 26, 2024, and was severely injured after a head-on-head collision during the game.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His 20th birthday was October 27th and one of the worst birthdays for us because he was in ICU and not doing well. He had several brain bleeds and swelling of the brain. He had to have a tube to drain to relieve the pressure, and after 2 days of severe pressure, we had to opt for a craniotomy, which was the last resort to help try to save his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>He needs and is going to need a lot of care, and all of his family live out of state from where he is located, and they also need to be able to have housing to be there to support and help him in this journey.</strong> We do not know what lies ahead yet, but we need all the prayers, support, resources, and donations to help him and his family keep giving him a fighting chance to survive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The donations sent will be used for his parents to be my his side due to them living over 2000 miles away from where he is hospitalized. The money will go for them to have temporary housing 900 a week, hospital fees (parking is $100 a week etc), and whatever may arise during this long journey (rental car fees a week estimated$350 ), gas to get amount etc). His mom (she has not been able to work since this injuries occurred) will have access to the funds directly to take care of all the things that is needed during this time.

</div>
<div>My name is Jenny Eldridge and I'm a close friend of Andrea. We work together at Uconn Health. Her son had the worst nightmare of her life and was hit while biking in Avon in a hit and run accident. He's fighting for his life with significant injuries. While his family is by his side, we're looking to raise money to support he family now and into the future days as they sit by Liam's side and pray for a full recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Liam is a sophomore at Avon High School, has a twin brother and plays soccer for Avon High.
</div>

<div>My name is Jessica and I've had the privilege of getting to know Joan through our kids' bowling team for Matanzas HS for the last six years! February 21, 2023, Joan was brutally attacked by a student as she tried to leave a classroom. The video has gone viral so I'm sure you've seen or heard about it!
</div>
<div>Joan is a mom of two! Her son is a senior and her daughter graduated from Matanzas HS in 2013. She's been working two jobs to care for her family. Her heart is huge in all she does for others!
</div>
<div>Joan is humble, never asks for help and needs our love/support during this difficult time. I've asked her to allow us to do this so that she can rest, heal and spend time with her kids without worrying about financial concerns right now.
</div>
<div>Thank you for giving in the way you are able! You can also send gift cards (Publix, Winn Dixie, Target, and Walmart). Please give in the way that is easiest for you!

<div>The family of Eden Palmer appreciates the community’s support in helping to recover from their tragic loss. On Saturday April 22, 2023, Eden was driving her younger son to a soccer match on the Peninsula when a wrong-way driver on 280 crashed into their car head-on… Eden and their family dog passed away.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Eden was a beloved wife, mother, friend, community volunteer and force for anyone who ever needed anything. It’s time for us to honor Eden and rally around her family as they need our support.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Her youngest suffered massive internal injuries and while making a miraculous recovery, he will have a lifetime of care needs. He and Eden shared dreams of him attending college - they were making plans for college tours. We want to make sure their dreams are fulfilled.

<div>Anatole, who is her 18-year old son, has expressed gratitude to the community and staff at Stanford Medical Center for saving his brother’s life and for delivering wonderful care to his brother and grieving father, grandparents, and extended family. <div>Dear friends and Family of Keenan Cahill
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are devasted to announce that our nephew, Keenan Cahill, passed away on December 29th at the age of 27. Twelve days earlier he had open heart surgery and was starting to recover, but complications arose that he couldn’t overcome. We are starting a fundraiser to collect donations to help pay for his medical and funeral costs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Keenan had Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome, which is a progressive condition that causes many tissues and organs to enlarge, become inflamed or scarred, and eventually waste away. He was first diagnosed at the age of 1. Because of his rare disease, he has had countless surgeries over his short life including a bone marrow transplant.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Keenan became one of the first internet sensations when he started recording himself lip-synching videos in his bedroom in 2010 and was noticed by Katy Perry.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the next few years, he traveled around the world working with celebrities including Katy Perry, Jimmy Kimmel, Jennifer Aniston, 50 Cent, Justin Bieber and David Guetta to name a few. His videos have over 500 million views on YouTube. He never made a lot of money, but he enjoyed what he was doing and brought smiles to the faces of so many people.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you to everyone that made Keenan’s short life memorable. He will be missed by all who knew him.
</div>
