I’m a single mother to a bright and loving 3-year-old daughter, and I’m currently 6 months pregnant. I work hard every day to provide for my family, and I do my best to balance everything on my own—from work to parenting to managing the many demands of life.

Recently, I was hit with some urgent and unexpected car repairs that I had no choice but to take care of right away. That, along with the rising costs of rent, daycare, bills, and daily essentials, has caused me to fall behind financially. Despite doing everything I can, I am now facing eviction, and I’m terrified of what that could mean for my daughter and unborn baby.
