Beaver’s Mini Mart has been a staple in Beavercreek, Ohio, serving the local community with care and dedication. The owner is a hardworking member of our town, always ready to lend a hand and provide a welcoming place for neighbors to gather. Now, the mini mart is facing an unexpected challenge that threatens its future.
<br />
<br />
 Bucc-ees, a large chain, has filed a lawsuit against Beaver’s Mini Mart, claiming that the store's cartoon beaver logo infringes on its trademark. Despite the fact that the two logos look nothing alike, the mini mart is being forced to defend itself in court. Legal fees are mounting, and the risk of losing this beloved local business is real. The mini mart needs our support to stand up against this big chain and protect what makes our community unique.
<br />
<br />
 We need your help to keep our small town community Beaver’s Mini Mart open. By donating, you are taking a stand with us to ensure that small mom and pop stores—like Beaver’s Mini Mart, the backbone of America—are not swallowed up by big businesses. Every contribution will go directly toward legal fees, helping the mini mart fight for its right to stay open and continue serving Beavercreek. Please join us in supporting this important cause and preserving the heart of our community.

Help Save Beaver’s Mini Mart

<div>Hi everyone. I never imagined I'd be in a position where I'd have to ask for help like this. I was hesitant to make a GoFundMe because asking for help has never come easily to me, but so many people encouraged me to make one after seeing my TikTok, so here I am. I'm 21 years old, and I'm trying to leave an abusive relationship and start over. I don't have family I can turn to because I was on my own after turning 18, and over the years I've become isolated from most of my friends. The few people I still have in my life live too far away to help right now. Leaving isn't as simple as walking away—I have to figure out where I'm going to stay, how I'm going to afford basic necessities, and how I'm going to take care of my cat, who will be leaving with me. Every donation will go toward things like emergency housing, food, transportation, pet expenses, and replacing anything I have to leave behind as I rebuild my life. If you came here from my TikTok, thank you for taking the time out of your day to listen to my story. Thank you for your kind words, your advice, your encouragement, and for reminding me that there are still good people in the world. Whether you're able to donate or simply share this, it truly means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you for helping me take the first step toward a safer future.
</div>

Leaving and starting over

<div>I'm repurposing my GOFUNDME for a similar purpose, but please read before donating. I don't like talking about me and this isn't what I want to be known for, but if I'm getting into it, it's because it's important...
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm currently in many court cases and while all the cases stem from one place, they take time and money to fight. On top of that, these people have consistently come after my sources of income to try to stop the approaching accountablity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I originally made this gofundme because they have been harassing my wife at her teaching job nonstop with stolen sexually explicit material that they physically mailed and emailed to students and teachers and various businesses surrounding the school where these students work (minors) and claimed it is her in these lewd photos engaging in criminal acts. They defamed her the same way they defamed me by falsely claiming p*dophilia despite the fact that their own hired goons are the only ones who threaten those things against children. Coordinated defamation campaigns are brutal because my wife is forced to constantly explain herself and this long and complicated case to everyone she meets out of fear for her safety, never able to feel comfortable in her own skin in her hometown even though she hasn't done anything wrong. They repeatedly attack her to get to me and try to blame me while they do it. They've made her dream job a nightmare. I helped her decorate the classroom she worked towards and built over the years. She missed out on so much of our children's young lives in school working towards this career over the years <strong>while they were harassing her there</strong> too. That's how long this has been going on. They really messed up her mental health and she doesn't even have an online platform and hasn't done anything negative to anyone. She's a really good person and I love her and I can't stand watching them get away with this. This is why I did what I did that got me sanctioned by the court, I was trying to avoid exactly this and they even said that they would do this. While I admit I was wrong for going online and posting what I posted about their lawyer who introduced the stolen material, I know the court understands how much damage they did to my wife and continued to do to her and have faced zero accountability for so far. I'm grateful that they said the sanction isn't due until the end of the case and I'm grateful you guys helped pay for it because it felt wrong that I should struggle to pay such a high cost while witnessing my wife break down due to the defendants actions. And if you've been following this case, this is only one of the countless instances they've done something horrific to my family over the years- WHILE I'M SUING THEM.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Currently, my family is struggling while also dealing with this vindictive plastic surgeon who is throwing it all away over a tiktok video. It wasn't enough to hire a felon to threaten my children or hire another felon to pretend to be a journalist to defame my family online and send them threatening mail to their homes. They have now started a new campaign threatening to steal all donations from my website by creating a mirrored website that looks like mine. I want to avoid any of you accidentaly donating to Joey Camp so <strong>this gofundme should be the only place to donate towards my platform or legal case.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They won't stop, but I will not give up.<em> I cannot</em>. They crossed so many lines. Coming after my wife and kids did not slow me down, it did the opposite. <strong>They are coming after my everything, so my victory is the only thing.</strong> I don't care how cheesy that sounds. Once I win in November, everything will change. We shouldn't have to suffer like this, but since we are, it won't be for nothing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate here to support my platform and give me the tools to fight back against them and others who think they can use courts to further harm their victims. The most difficult part about writing this, is knowing that they will react to me asking you for help by pouring salt on the wound, but we can't suffer in silence. It has been like half a decade that these people have been dangerously obsessed over me. I can't wait to end this, but half a decade of fighting back won't be for nothing.

<div>Teenagers. Students. Members of our community. During a recent student protest in Quakertown, several minors were arrested following a law enforcement response that involved significant physical engagement with students. Video from the scene shows officers physically restraining teenagers, including a young female student who was brought to the ground. Some students required medical evaluation following the incident. These are high school students — not hardened criminals. They are now facing legal proceedings and the emotional and financial weight that comes with it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Regardless of political perspective, minors deserve access to fair legal representation and support when navigating the justice system. This fund has been created to assist with: attorney fees, court-related expenses, medical costs related to the incident, and support services for affected students.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When young people engage in civic expression, the response should never leave families struggling to afford legal protection. If you believe in due process, proportionality, and the protection of children in our community, please consider contributing.
</div>

</div>
<div>This fundraiser is being managed by The Welcome Project PA, 501(c)3, who will be responsible for equal disbursement of funds to the families of the 5 children arrested. <div><strong>Help Defend Marcus Gallegos’s First Amendment Rights</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Help Us Stand Up for Free Speech in Alabama

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On a recent trip in Alabama, Marcus Gallegos exercised what he believed to be his constitutional right to free expression. In a moment of frustration, Marcus voiced the words “Fuck the Police” toward a state trooper — speech that courts across the country have repeatedly recognized as protected under the First Amendment, even when offensive.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Moments later, Marcus was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We believe this arrest was unjust, unconstitutional, and an alarming example of the government punishing someone simply for speaking their mind. Regardless of how anyone feels about Marcus’s language, freedom of speech does not disappear because a police officer dislikes the message.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>⚖️ <strong>Why This Matters</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Marcus is now facing legal costs that could have a serious impact on his life and future. More importantly, this case symbolizes something much larger:

</div>

<div><strong>If the government can punish one person for speech it doesn’t like, it can punish any of us.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This fight is about Marcus — but it’s also about the rights of every American to express themselves without fear of arrest or retaliation.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> <strong>How Your Support Will Help</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Your contributions will directly support:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Legal defense fees to challenge the disorderly conduct charge

</div>

<div>Court costs and filings needed to fight the case

</div>

<div>Protest materials for peaceful demonstrations supporting free speech

</div>

<div>Outreach efforts to bring attention to Marcus’s case and First Amendment rights

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every dollar helps ensure Marcus has a fair chance to defend himself and that this incident does not go unnoticed.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>❤️ Stand With Marcus. Stand With Free Speech.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Marcus is not a criminal. He is someone who spoke out — and was punished for it.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>You don’t have to agree with the exact words he used to recognize the danger of allowing speech-based arrests to go unchallenged. We are determined to stand with Marcus as he fights for justice, but we cannot do it alone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please consider donating, sharing this campaign, and raising awareness about this important issue. Together, we can help Marcus defend his rights and protect the rights of everyone.

</div>

<div>Community activist and 2 amendment advocate Mark Manley, commonly known as Mark Choppa, house was raided at 4:12 am on 11/21/2024 by the ATF. The house was occupied by his two daughters Zena and Zarah, his son Akilez, his wife, and himself. While the victims were sleeping, The ATF violently entered the property aiming fully equipped rifles at the victim and his family. Flash bangs were used upon entering, Mr. Manley, his daughters and his 15 year old son were handcuffed while the house was being dismantled, breaking cameras that were there to record for safety, breaking down his sons bedroom door shattering glass everywhere, police dogs were defecating around the house, leaving the house in shambles. The warrant was supposedly apart of a long ongoing investigation attempting to find Mr. Manley with illegal firearms/machine guns which nothing recovered was illegal. Mr. Manley is a law-abiding citizen. Mr. Manley is a youth advocate that teaches deescalation, conflict resolution, all while hosting family oriented events that promotes violence prevention in the community. Mr. Manley is now a full time teacher, where he also coaches the girls flag football team, Mr. Manley has been a pillar within his community and an exceptional role model to the youth. Since this incident, him and his family are left with legal fee’s, house repairs, therapy for the children who are traumatized after having fully automatic weapons swarmed in their face. We are asking for any donations that could help restore any normality in Mr. Manley and his family’s daily life.

</div>
<div>The evening of 03/02/25, he was doing his job like any other day, giving great service. And then—<strong>after serving an $87 meal</strong>—he gets left a <strong>zero tip and a hateful, racist message on the receipt.</strong>

Tip Ricardo: Because Hate Has No Place Here

<p>My name is Jodiona I’m keshawn’s mom. Keshawn was a very active child he loved to play soccer and basketball on November 4, 2020 I got home from work and he was complaining about having headaches, blurry vision and dizziness I rushed keshawn to Jacobi medical center where they did a CT scan on his brain and I was told that he had brain tumor. They transferred him to Montefiore Children Hospital where he did a 12 hour brain surgery and followed with 6 weeks of radiation. He was then Hospitalized for 5 1/2 months and still having ongoing chemotherapy , physical and speech therapy till this day. My husband and I haven't been working since he was diagnosed. His muscles are so weak that it effects his walking. Our main goal right now is for him to finish all his therapy and start gaining strength back so he can go back to being normal and active child he was before all this started. Thank you for all your love and support! I hope that you will keep us in your prayers! Love the Williams Family xoxo

<p>The Burke &amp; Matias family have always given a helping hand to those who they don't know. Sofia Burke is a <strong>nurse that took care of patients with Covid-19</strong> at a nursing home in New Jersey.  She was there when the first wave of Covid-19 hit nursing homes the hardest. She helped patients recover from the virus but also brought comfort to those that took their final breath. <br /><br />Sofia <strong>followed all safety protocols</strong> at work which kept all of her family members safe at home. <br /><br />But a single act of generosity by Sofia's mother changed all of that. Sofia’s mother gave a car ride to an elderly friend who unknowingly was infected. The Covid-19 virus quickly spread into Sofia Burke's 8-member household. From her youngest 2-year-old daughter (Elena) to her oldest member, <strong>Sofia's Father</strong> 93-year-old (Otto) <strong>who died this past week due to Covid-19.</strong> <iframe media_type="0" media_id="39Hr3m19XeQ" class="youtube-replace" title="YouTube video player" style="margin-bottom:20px;width:560px;height:315px;" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/39Hr3m19XeQ/?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe><br /><br />Before Thanksgiving,<strong> all eight members of Sofia’s household had contracted Covid-19.</strong> Sofia's father passed away while both were still in the hospital. Her mother was discharged after spending six days in the hospital. She still needs supplemental oxygen pumps close by. Every other member of the family — Sofia’s brother, her husband, and her three children, ages 2, 6, and 20 are recovering from the after effects of COVID-19.   Her <strong>2-year-old daughter who has diabetes</strong> was taken to the pediatric emergency room with a recurring high fever. She was treated to lower her fever but <strong>Sofia still fears complications.</strong><br /><br />Unfortunately, <strong>Sofia still remains in the hospital</strong> as she is finding it difficult to fight off the virus. She spent Thanksgiving at the hospital away from her family but is still in good spirits.  Sofia wants to <strong>express her gratitude to those people who are helping her and her family: </strong><br /><br />“I want to say thank you to this hospital for everything they have done for me and my family”  “I want to say thank you to all the front-line people working so hard.” (<a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2020/12/01/covid-19-infects-new-jersey-family-navigates-thanksgiving/6475941002/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">USA Today article</a> ) <br /><br />Please take the time to click on the news coverage links to find out more information about the family and what they're going through. <br /><br />Many of you already know that medical treatments are way too expensive in USA and if you have limited health insurance coverage the burden becomes hard to overcome. We are here to help raise funds for the Burke &amp; Matias's family medical expenses and as well as funeral costs for the passing of Sofia's father. Any remaining funds will be used to help Sofia's mother with her breathing complications and her 2-year-old daughters diabetes treatment expenses. <br /><br />Please keep Sofia and her family in your prayers.  <br /><br />Thank you for your generosity and help!<br /><br />-Friends &amp; Family

<strong>In March of 2020, I launched <a href="https://twitter.com/FacesOfCOVID" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FacesOfCOVID</a>  on Twitter with three specific goals in mind:</strong><br /><br />1. Lift up the names, faces, and stories behind the numbing statistics to preserve the dignity to those we've lost to the pandemic and show compassion and empathy to the families who mourn.<br /><br />2. Provide a measure of accountability for our failures in national leadership by challenging efforts to rewrite the history of the pandemic, promote misinformation, or downplay the extent of the losses. We cannot allow history to be rewritten.<br /><br />3. Uplift local journalism at a time when it is being hollowed out,  by providing a platform with expansive reach to share the important work of community-level reporters who are doing their best to tell these stories under challenging circumstances. <br /><br />This effort has now grown to nearly 70,000 followers. Now it's time to bring our storytelling to the next level. <br /><br />Beginning the week of September 9th, FacesOfCOVID will be releasing a series of digital storytelling videos to further uplift the lives of those who are gone, and allow us to begin to engage with the extent and scope of those losses. <br /><br /><strong><a href="https://twitter.com/FacesOfCOVID/status/1305521572762050562?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WATCH Our first video</a> , lifting up the names and faces of our firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics. </strong><br /><br />FacesOfCOVID is run by its volunteer founder, Alex Goldstein, and a handful of volunteers who have raised their hand to help along the way.  Our goal is to raise enough funds in the coming weeks to produce at least six more pieces, and promote them on social platforms to ensure maximum exposure and visibility. <br /><br /><strong>Every cent raised will go towards the production and sponsored content cost necessary to sustain this effort. </strong><br /><br />To learn more about FacesOfCOVID and our mission, you can watch, read, and learn more via recent coverage on <a href="https://www.msnbc.com/all-in/watch/-faces-of-covid-twitter-page-puts-human-face-on-toll-of-coronavirus-91106373881" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MSNBC</a> , <a href="https://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/05/12/opinion/remembering-lives-lost-coronavirus-one-tweet-time/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Boston Globe</a> , <a href="https://www.propublica.org/article/nobody-accurately-tracks-health-care-workers-lost-to-covid-19-so-she-stays-up-at-night-cataloging-the-dead" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ProPublica</a>, and <a href="https://www.fastcompany.com/90487630/this-moving-twitter-account-puts-faces-to-the-coronavirus-statistics" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FastCompany</a>.

FacesOfCOVID Digital Memorial Project

The Seattle arts community has held and nurtured me for years. Those of us in the arts community and those of us who are close to the arts community know the financial pressures that have long been increasing for those in the arts - especially for artists of color.  <br /><br />Seattle has so far been the city hardest hit by the COVID-19 coronavirus. This scary and tragic  time has a lot of people staying close to home in order to try to help prevent the spread of this virus that can be devastating to our elderly, disabled, and medically compromised friends and neighbors.  <br /><br />The widespread cancellation of group events has had a disproportionate impact on the Seattle arts community - especially those who rely on gigs to pay their bills. Creatives are people whose very existence relies on what they create and people being able to access their work. Musicians, DJ’s, independent chefs, caterers, actors, directors, writers, spoken word artists, teaching artists, all of these peoples jobs rely on people showing up for events but events are being canceled. <br /><br />I know that so far every speaking engagement I had for the next month has been cancelled or postponed, and I’m in the very rare and privileged position to be able to weather this financially. Many are not.  We’re seeing canceled events through the end of this month and it's probably going to continue to grow. A large percentage of artists supplement their incomes with part time jobs often in the service industry which is another industry that is being hit hard. <br /><br />So if you love Seattle art and the Seattle arts community, and you have the resources to, please consider pitching in to our relief fund. If you are familiar with similar fundraisers I’ve done in the past (like for last year’s snowpocalypse), you know that this money goes directly to people in the Seattle area in need.<br /><br />This fund is aimed at helping those in the greater Seattle arts community who have been financially impacted by cancellations due to COVID-19. Depending on funding levels and amount of requests, priority may given to artists from communities that have been historically and systemically economically disadvanted in the Seattle Area: BIPOC artists, transgender &amp; nonbinary artists, and disabled artists - but we will try to help as many artists with need in Seattle as we can as long as we have funds and are not currently turning away any Seattle Area artists who meet the simple criteria (living in the Seattle area, have gig/event/work cancellation in the arts, have fully completed the application). We will basically keep going until we run out of money or this crisis ends - whichever comes sooner.<br /><br />Where your funds go: 100% of these funds will go to artists who have lost income due to cancellations and work stoppage due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is emergency funding to help artists in need with rent, food, utilities, and medical needs. The amount given to each artist is determined based on how many funds we receive, how much artists have lost due to cancellations, and how many artists apply. We use these factors to calculate what percentage of each individual request we can pay each artist. We are currently giving a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $1000 to each individual artist. <br /><br />How Funds will get to Artists: We will send funds to the mailing address, PayPal or Zelle indicated in the application. We've partnered with LANGSTON Seattle ( <a href="https://www.facebook.com/LangstonSeattle/"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/LangstonSeattle/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.facebook.com/LangstonSeattle/</a> </a>)  to send out payments in a timely and organized matter and to serve as an accountability and oversight partner. Langston is a 501c3 organizaton, and if you are interested in making a larger, tax-deductable donation to our fund, please use this link <a href="https://www.langstonseattle.org/donate/">( <a href="https://www.langstonseattle.org/donate/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.langstonseattle.org/donate/</a> </a>) to donate directly to LANGSTON and put "Seattle Artists Relief Fund" or "SARF" in the notes. You can also mail a paper check directly to LANGSTON at (104 17th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144). Checks should be made out to "LANGSTON" with "Seattle Artists Relief Fund" or "SARF" in the memo line. <br /><br />We have suspended applications for funds as of now, in order to make sure we can meet the needs of the 1,700 people who have already applied for assistance. We are actively working to be able to meet these needs and raise enough to be able to open applications again. <br /><br />If you are an artist in need of funds, we have a waiting list you can join <a href="https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7VK7SD6" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here</a> .<br /><br />We can get through this together.

As you may already know, Rob recently found out that he has a non-malignant meningioma brain tumor. <br /><br />As you can imagine, this news was a bit of a shock, and trying to figure out next steps is a huge challenge.<br /><br />Let's come together and help take some of that pressure off.<br /><br />These funds will be used for whatever is most helpful for Rob, be it medical expenses or whatever else he needs to take care of.

So as many of you all know on 09/14/2018 Jason was in a motorcycle accident and was airlifted to harborview with critical injuries. His most severe injury was a severed aorta. After arriving at harborview thankfully he was conscious and able to consent to a life saving clinical trial he is the 9th person to have it done in the US and 2nd in the state. This procedure isn’t yet FDA approved in the US yet. They were able to successfully mend his aorta he also need a tube to drain the blood from his chest. Also because of his aorta he had a blood clot in his leg they had to remove. So so far the other injuries he received is a fractured pelvis, top of his femur, and two compound breaks in his forearm also several broken ribs. There is also a area by his knee they are not sure about yet. As of right now this is what they know of they weren’t sure if there was any more bone fractures or injuries.  Jason has a very long road of recovery he has had countless hours of surgery and will have months of rehab.  I am already finding this situation to be very hard financially between food expenses and places to stay and shower some of the simple things we take for granted is costly when your staying at the hospital for long periods of time.  And now With Jason And I both out of work due to his injuries and care financially we need the help every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.

In Memory of Seth Ringling

Greetings from Germany. My hubby is from OH, and when I heard about this on “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”, we knew right away we had to support you.
I LOVE all the local businesses adding beavers 🦫 to their logos in solidarity. My favorite is the Blueberry-Beaver.
Going on o share your fundraising, especially with our family and friends in OH.
We wish you the best of luck.
Now go kick some corporate butt.
Much love and support from Germany.

<div>I’m known as <strong>The Minnesota “Spiderman”</strong>, and I’m asking for help after a violent incident in downtown Minneapolis on August 22. That day, racist supremacists invaded our streets and threatened the peace of our community. I tried to block their trucks’ path with a police barricade, but police removed it and let them through. As the vehicle moved toward the crowd, I jumped onto the moving truck because I felt I had to do whatever I could to protect the people around me. I was pushed off, punched in the face, and trampled by police who, in that moment, protected the real threat instead of the community. After I was already off the truck and on the sidelines, about five police officers came from behind, tackled me onto the concrete with full force, and took me into custody without reading my rights.

<div>I am now injured and unable to perform, and this has affected both my health and my future. I’m raising funds to help cover my medical bills, support my recovery and any issues this may cause in the time ahead. As my identity has been revealed,I now have to protect my family and assure our safety. I did what I felt I had to do to protect my community.

<div> This fundraiser is being ran by, William Nicholas Love Fiancee and partner of 5 years.

<div><strong>Please consider helping</strong> in any way you can. Every donation, share, and message of support means so much to me and will make a real difference in my life as I work to recover from this trauma and keep fighting for whats RIGHT.
