Hi everyone. I never imagined I'd be in a position where I'd have to ask for help like this. I was hesitant to make a GoFundMe because asking for help has never come easily to me, but so many people encouraged me to make one after seeing my TikTok, so here I am. I'm 21 years old, and I'm trying to leave an abusive relationship and start over. I don't have family I can turn to because I was on my own after turning 18, and over the years I've become isolated from most of my friends. The few people I still have in my life live too far away to help right now. Leaving isn't as simple as walking away—I have to figure out where I'm going to stay, how I'm going to afford basic necessities, and how I'm going to take care of my cat, who will be leaving with me. Every donation will go toward things like emergency housing, food, transportation, pet expenses, and replacing anything I have to leave behind as I rebuild my life.
