Hi, my name is Sherry. Both of my daughters were born disabled, and have used wheelchairs all of their lives, and have lived with me all of their lives. They want to start using electric wheelchairs, and be more independent, our house is too small for that, so I am getting an addition added onto our house. Shirley is 36 years old, and Sarah is 30. The addition will be special equipped for them, and will also include showers, bathtubs, flushable toilets, sensory, art, computer, game room, dishwasher, laundry room, kitchen, and other needs, all on one level, equipped for them. It is going to help them be much more independent. They are very excited about this, as am I. Shirley was born with Down’s Syndrome, heart defects, and got Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis as a baby, which crippled her badly. Sarah is legally blind, hard-of-hearing, and her arms, legs, hands, feet, fingers and toes are all severely deformed. She also has an arachnoid cyst inside of her brain, which causes her to have short term memory issues. They are both disabled gamers, and love being in online communities. I was with my husband over 30 years, until our recent divorce. I was a housewife, taking care of my family. We really need your help. Every donation is important, no matter the size.
