I’m a single parent & 24/7 caretaker to my special needs child. My child has multiple disabilities. I’ve been trying to monetize on TikTok for almost 2 years now. I’m not even in the creator rewards program anymore because monetization never happened. I do so many different types of content including my singing videos. I have almost 400 singing videos currently. I really try so hard on there with it being my only liable option. In 2024, my child was supposed to be in a specialized school for children with disabilities. However, it didn’t work out. The school was horrifying. I had to remove my child & begin homeschooling. Last year I had mentioned online how I used to have a corporate job from home for about 2 1/2 years, full time, 40 hours, while also having my child home with me. It all became far too much for just one person to do. I thought the school was going to work out & so I was starting TT seriously & also was going to begin another flexible job. But because I had to pull my child out of the school, I’ve had to only solely focus on making TT content. I don’t have a village in real life & I never get any breaks, ever. This is extremely hard for me to do because I’ve never asked anyone for a penny during my journey & I have such a hard time asking for help even though I’m in desperate need of it. I’m drowning in debt & struggling immensely overall in all aspects. I’ve exhausted every single possible option a long time ago. A lot of my followers have told me / asked me to create one of these but I’ve never wanted to do it out of fear of judgement & criticism. One of the hardest things for most people, especially ones who are severely struggling, is asking for help. No one is in any way, shape or form obligated to participate in this. I’ve only ever asked for time & engagement on my online content. One huge thing I’m in need of (I’ve mentioned to my followers a few times) is a specialized car seat because my insurance doesn’t cover it & it is very expensive.
