URGENT: Keelo Was Brought to the ER to Be Euthanized. We Said YES. ❤️ Two days ago, this beautiful six-year-old husky was brought to the emergency hospital to say goodbye. But the doctors who met him couldn’t let his story end there. They fell in love with his sweet eyes, goofy smile, and silly personality, but most importantly, they knew something heartbreaking: Keelo wasn’t dying. He just needed help. He was suffering from a life-threatening urinary obstruction caused by massive bladder stones. Without treatment, he would die. But with emergency surgery, his doctors were confident he had an excellent prognosis and every reason to live. So they called us. And before I knew what the bill would be… Before I knew how we’d come up with the money… Before we had a single dollar raised… I gave the only answer I could. YES. Because when a dog has hope… When a dog can be saved… When a life can be restored… I simply cannot walk away. But saying yes came with a price. One I can NOT do alone. Keelo’s emergency surgery and hospitalization total is $7,648. The required UPFRONT deposit for treatment to begin is $5,373. We urgently need your help to cover these unexpected but important expenses. We didn’t have time to fundraise first. We didn’t have time to make a plan.
