Since our last update in July, Steve has continued to fight incredibly hard. Unfortunately, his July scans and most recent scans from 9/03 showed that the cancer has continued to grow, despite the chemo. His doctors are now switching him back to FOLFOX with Avastin, a treatment he previously received, while we remain hopeful that it will help slow things down. They will do scans again after 4 rounds of this chemo to see where things are, so likely around the last week of October. We also have a consultation next month to explore clinical trials and newer treatment options, especially those that may target the specific mutation in his cancer. There are still options, and we are continuing to fight and take things one day at a time. Thank you so much to everyone who continues to pray, check in, and support Steve and our whole family.
