The resulting imbalance is now affecting the other side of my body and has placed tremendous strain on my pelvis, back, neck, and shoulders. I live with severe pain, can no longer carry myself even with two canes, and am now dependent on a wheelchair and on Gabriel’s daily care.

It has become essential that we reach England, where we can begin again with stability and finally move toward the hip replacement that can no longer be delayed.

<div>Aloha! My name is Dana and I am in service in the fields of new science, spirituality, healing, and consciousness expansion. All of my life I have been involved in work that seeks to facilitate the planetary shift in consciousness and nurture new levels of awareness, emotional evolution, Heart Intelligence, Love, Spirit, and Source connection here on Planet Earth. <div>Thank you SO much for taking the time to read my story and for contributing to my fundraiser that I'm currently updating, editing, and reposting due to the financial aftermath caused by the six-month-long medical crisis I've recently experienced.

<div>For those who may not know me or my story, I'm Sundance, (aka Virginia); a self-employed, professional certified farrier (horseshoer), animal communicator, whisperer and behavioral specialist with decades of experience. My passion and love for animals, especially for the (remaining) 14 beloved souls who call my mini ranch their forever home, is one of the main reasons I'm still alive today after recently having spent a total of 35 days (17 days in January and 18 days in February) in the hospital (literally) fighting for my life after a fungal infection tried to take me down (Sept. thru November of 2023) with pneumonia.

<div>On Dec. 31st, due to the chronic nonstop coughing, the fungus finally succeeded in creating a hole/tear in my lung, causing it to repeatedly collapse while in the hospital, for a total of SIX times! (Four of the pneumothorax episodes were directly linked to medical incompetence!)

<div>Even though I've been home for a little over three weeks, after six major surgeries, SIX chest tubes (three that were RIPPED out of my chest WITHOUT sedation or painkillers, two of which they pulled at the same time just a few hours before sending me home! OMG! You don't know pain until you've had this barbaric and torturous procedure done to you!); massive weight loss and muscle wasting, I was sent home with nine holes cut into my ribcage; I'm far from being recovered enough to safely return to work.
</div>

<div>Throughout this journey, which has made it (nearly) impossible for me to work in the last six months, during my time in the hospital (since January), I've also lost four loved ones to death; three were extremely close family members, (my niece just died two weeks ago, only 12 hrs after I had a video chat with her!) and one was a very dear friend.

</div>
<div>Despite all the literal HELL I've been going through, I assure you, I AM doing EVERYTHING in my power to heal my body, mind, heart, and soul so I can get back to work as quickly as possible. (On the second day home from the hospital, even though my neighbor was ready to handle everything for me, and I shouldn't have, I took over almost all ranch chores except blanketing the horses for the first week, just to rebuild my muscles and endurance.)

<div>I honestly cannot heal fast enough, but running a ranch by one's self, makes it difficult to afford the downtime needed to properly heal. (There is NO such thing as "taking it easy" or "resting" up!) The doctors warned me not to pick up anything heavier than ten pounds- I looked them in the eye and said, "Seriously? You do realize I run a ranch by myself, right?" Since I'm the only human here, I have no choice but to take care of it all, no matter how bad I feel!
</div>

</div>
<div>I'm at least another six weeks from being recovered enough to safely return to work on client's equines, and that's only if they're good. It's going to take time to not only strengthen my endurance and muscles, but now I need to rebuild my business too, since all of my clients were forced to hire other farriers and may not want to switch back to me.
</div>

<div>My reserves from the earlier fundraising efforts have been exhausted. Two major vet bills in the past two weeks took a big chunk out of the reserves. Two days ago I had to have the vet out for Red Cloud's eye which had been injured and gotten infected. The other vet bill was for Bandit (my chihuahua) who had a swollen lymph node above his heart, causing excessive coughing. (That bill was nearly $400!)

<div>Aside from the ranch itself, which is going back on the market this weekend, I've run out of things to sell. I've fallen behind on the mortgage and am teetering on the brink of foreclosure on top of it all. (As if I didn't have enough to deal with already!)

<div>It costs roughly $5000 a month (with no extras) to keep this place going and everyone fed. It's been my home (and the critters', too!) for the past 17 years. Losing our home before I can sell it is NOT an option!

<div>This fund raiser is to help Oglala Lakota Unci/Grandmother Rita Long Visitor Holy Dance with the needed funds for transportation repair/maintenance or in the event of a successful fund raising campaign a newer vehicle. Unci Rita has two vehicles (a f150 and a SUV), both over 20 years old. The gravel road conditions where Unci Rita lives in the Slim Buttes Community are poorly maintained and below standard. Although garage bills are a given the road conditions plus having to travel 20 miles in any direction for food, health care and other business takes its toll on the vehicles. Unci Rita is an independent elder living in her own home in her home community of Slim Buttes, which is a rural community. True to traditional cultural values when asked Unci Rita helps provide transportation for those who call on her. The past year has been a challenge w/both vehicles in the garage at the same time. And being 20 miles from town or our home agency it creates a domino effect of set backs without adequate transportation.

<div>Rita Long Visitor Holy Dance is a Native American spiritual elder from the Oglala Lakota tribe. Unci (Grandmother in Lakota) Rita was born in the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. She currently lives on the land that was allotted to her great grandparents more than 100 years ago. She is committed to preserving the Lakota ways of life through the preservation of the Lakota language, which she speaks fluently, education and advocacy. She works with a youth ambassador program for Lakota youth connecting them with their spiritual traditions, including Sundance. In addition she works to free youth from substance abuse. Unci Rita holds closely to her heart the hope that the work and influence of the Grandmothers Council will give a voice to the Lakota People, and bring good things to the children and the generations to come.

<div>Unci Rita cherishes and advocates her traditional Lakota ways and language which she speaks fluently. Unci Rita is empathetic to single parents and their struggles to raise their children, because she herself was a single parent raising her children (and five of her oldest grandchildren) on her own. Today Unci Rita is a grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

<div>Many of you have come to know her generous spirit and heart through her songs, and many of us have received profound healing through the depth and beauty of her music. Ajeet has been struggling with an extreme case of Endometriosis for the past 15 years. It is now at an advanced stage and impacts multiple organs. She had avoided surgery for years through lifestyle changes and other interventions but it has caused her debilitating pain and seriously affected her life and ability to continue offering her gifts of music to the world. She recently underwent a second surgery to resolve this issue, with one of the few Endometriosis specialists in the US who felt confident that they could help her and resolve this issue once and for all.

<div>While the surgery was successful, it was much more severe than her surgical team anticipated and the post operation recovery was very different than expected. Her recovery required an unforeseen 9 day hospital stay that left her with a $95,000 medical bill. Ajeet was expected to pay for all of this out of pocket despite having insurance. Her insurance company won’t cover any of the cost. If you’re from the United States, you’re probably already aware of how broken the US medical &amp; insurance system can be, and if you’re from another country, you’ve likely heard as well how our system is not set up to care for people and often leaves many in massive debt. This an especially challenging issue for artists or anyone who is self-employed as insurance is often connected to your work in the US. Fortunately, Ajeet was treated at RWJBH medical center which is a non-profit organization and they have stepped in to cover a large portion of the cost, for which we are deeply grateful.

<div>And so now we are reaching out to you, lovers and supporters of Ajeet’s music, to help contribute to this beautiful woman in her healing and recovery so that she can focus on the task of mending her body, rather than the financial stress of chronic illness. Ajeet has not yet recovered as her doctor’s expected, so it is possible further interventions or even additional surgery may be required for her to return to her life. We want to soften any stress she may be feeling about the financial side of this experience in addition to holding her in our love and prayers. We know she has felt the immensity of your love and care as her community so far and that has made a difficult time one full of love. Healing for Ajeet

<div>I am Bruno Malewicz (Brahmdev) and have been in Ukraine just before the war had started. Some of you may know that my mother and her family originally is from Ukraine. Some of them and many of my friends are still there. The war is an unimaginably extreme time, and it cannot be expressed the fear and instability for those who are there. But despite the dark situation, there still lives in hearts love, care and compassion.

<div>I am asking for help for the hundreds of animals who were abandoned in Ukraine. When people fled from the horror of war, many pets were left ; in the street , in basements, in apartments or houses and they are starving. One animal shelter near Kiev was abandoned by staff and had around 500 animals left in cages without food. And of course there are so many of animals whose owners were killed in the war…

<div>My friends together with other volunteers, even at this difficult time, could not turn away from these situations and animals they encountered who are in great need. They are finding abandoned animals in basements, in outdoor cages, and then they take care as much as they can: feeding, providing medical help, sheltering stray animals, helping to buy food, looking for new home for them, sterilising. They started helping many in their neighbourhood but are quickly moving further, and need help to continue this work.

She has been generously documenting her healing sessions with Gaby, sharing in depth blog posts for us all to peer into the Quantum Field of subtle energy healing, as together, they co-create Miracles. Camille indeed has found a depth of inner calling in opening her life to being of devoted service to her Beloved Sister Gaby's Healing journey, which is truly a journey of miracles. Help Christine heal from the loss of her father

PMR has seized and repossessed two horses. <strong>We NEED your help.</strong><br /><br />A call was made for the Sherriff to go out to a ranch in Colorado where an uncatchable mare was roped and tied to a pole. She snapped her neck in hysteria and died tied to the pole. The foal pictured above is trying to nurse off its dead mother.<br />When the noise around this horror began it was simultaneously met with my people in Colorado expressing concern over two horses we had recently placed in a new home. <br />A trip to the ranch found the sheriff present and to our horror our two horses standing in the elements. It was coincidentally the same location. Checking paperwork revealed that the address on the adoption paperwork and this address weren't matching. Further investigation showed more false information and we knew we had been duped!<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53940394_1610644836894873_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="53940394_1610644836894873_r.jpeg" />(This colt survived and is in good hands at a horse rescue in Colorado)<br /><br />Echo and her colt Rocky were thin, shaggy with winter coats, yet the ripples of ribs showing through the patches of their hair. Look at the topline of the mares back. It's hard to imagine that from July of 2020 to the present they could go from glossy shiny healthy horses to such a sad circumstance. Were they being fed at all? <br /><br />We reclaimed our 2 and headed out. We later were told the Sherriff determined the death of the mare to be an accident (indeed!).<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53940394_161064551239979_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="53940394_161064551239979_r.jpeg" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/53940394_161064553545483_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="53940394_161064553545483_r.jpeg" /><br />Once back safe in our hands, our work has begun. We called the vet out for an examination. A body score of 2 for the colt, and 2.5 for the mare! DISGUSTING! <br />We have the cost of the Haul ($100.00), the cost of hay, grain, supps, ($144) the vet ($464), and now the hoof trimming ($100). We sit at $808.00. Our work has just begun. We can't continue working without donations. I know the PMR community has a huge hearts<br /><br />Thankfully, there are equine angels out there. I call them my Rescue Warriors! Apparently ended up in a 'Trainers' hands in between being relinquished to PMR and laying over until we picked her up...unauthorized and certainly without permission, the person decided she was going to work Abbie and prepare her for her new home...She flipped her twice! When fires in the surrounding Monterey County, San Benito County and Santa Cruz County broke out, Josh began fighting them on the front lines through CalFire and together they started devising a plan to care for evacuated animals at Dreamweaver Ranch.<br /><br /></strong><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50601090_1598028899874684_r.jpeg" alt="50601090_1598028899874684_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><strong>The devastation these fires are creating is unbelievable.</strong> <strong>Countless animals are being left behind as their owners flee for their lives.</strong> Dreamweaver Ranch has taken in 17 horses, 3 goats and a very feisty pig. They are in the process of building additional temporary pens and can take another 30 horses (with what they already have on site) and some smaller animals such as pigs, sheep, and goats.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50601090_1598028591724285_r.jpeg" alt="50601090_1598028591724285_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />They have been sharing resources with Salinas Sports Complex and some privately owned boarding facilities and ranches in Prunedale. They have also been helping to facilitate transportation needs for those who are trying to evacuate animals with an incredible group of experienced volunteer haulers. They say in a time of need you look for the “helpers” and we are truly surrounded by them. <br /><br /><strong>As you can imagine, it is costly to care for animals and donations are needed to ensure these scared, displaced animals are well taken care of. <p><strong>L’accident de Gabrielle</strong><br />Je suis la sœur de Gabrielle Dareau et j’organise une collecte de fond pour son séjour en centre de rééducation, suite à un accident dévastateur le 09 juillet dernier. Tragiquement cet accident à séparé à jamais Gabrielle de sa fille, Licia, et cela une semaine avant ses 4 ans. Miraculeusement Gabrielle  à survécue. Cependant elle c’est brisée le cou pendant l’accident ce qui l’a laissée paralysée, incapable d’avaler ou même de respirer sans assistance. Le pronostic initial des médecins était qu’elle aurait besoin d’une trachéotomie, et qu’elle resterait a jamais paralysée. Nous sommes convaincus qu’avec le support adéquat Gaby remarchera un jour et pourra de nouveau monter et travailler avec ses chevaux.

<p><strong>Gabrielle's Accident </strong><br />I am Gabrielle Dareau's sister and I am raising funds for her stay in a re-education centre following a devastating accident on the 9th of July this year. Tragically the accident took the life of Gabrielle's daughter Licia, a week before she was to celebrate her fourth birthday. Miraculously Gabrielle survived, but she broke her neck and was paralysed and unable to breathe or swallow on her own. The doctors prognosis was that she would need to undergo a tracheotomy and would remain paraplegic. We are certain that with the right support Gaby will walk, and be able to work with and ride her horses again. <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50454364_1597517156745263_r.jpeg" alt="50454364_1597517156745263_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><strong>Son Incroyable Progression<br /></strong><span style="font-size:1.0625rem;">Durant les trois premières semaines à l'hôpital, Gabrielle a fait d'incroyable progrès et a commencée à respirer et manger toute seule. Sa capacité à bouger ses bras et ses doigts s'améliore de jours en jours. A ce jour elle reste dans un centre qui ne lui apporte pas les soins adaptés, quand à son programme de rééducation, il est très basique et non adapté à sa situation. Nous faisons tout ce que nous pouvons pour essayer de compenser. J'ai la chance de pouvoir lui faire de la thérapie Craniosacrale de façon journalière, nous avons également commencé à lui donner des suppléments alimentaires de hautes qualités ainsi qu'une gamme de jus spécialisés. Pour le moment Gabrielle se concentre a écouter des livres audio spirituels tout en prenant ses remèdes naturels à base d'homéopathie et d'huiles essentielles.</span>

Currently she is in a centre which is not providing her with appropriate care, and the quality of her re-education training is disappointingly basic. We have been doing everything we can to compensate. I am able to give her Craniosacral Therapy daily, we have been providing her with high quality nutritional supplements and juices. Gaby a déjà fait la demande, nous attendons maintenant que sa candidature soit traitée et acceptée. Nous avons décidé de lancer cet appel à l’aide afin de nous permettre de faire face aux couts de la nouvelle clinique, qui va dépasser ce que peut couvrir sa mutuelle actuelle. Mais également  de nous aider à continuer d’aller la voir régulièrement, ce qui me permettrai de lui faire des séances de Craniosacral et d’énergie thérapie tous les jours.<br /><strong><br />The Best Option </strong><br />In looking for the best option for Gabrielle, we have been recommended the Clinic Korian Marienia  which is situated in Cambo-les-Bains in the Pyrénées-Atlantique department of France. It is a modern, semi-private clinic which is equipped with all the facilities that can help Gaby heal her paralysis. Gaby has applied to be moved, and now we are waiting for the application to be processed and approved. We decided to appeal for help to enable us to meet the costs of the new clinic which will surpass Gabrielle's current health insurance, and also to help us continue to visit her regularly and for me to be able to provide her with continued Craniosacral and energy therapy every day. <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50454364_1597516901689362_r.jpeg" alt="50454364_1597516901689362_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><strong style="font-size:1.0625rem;">Estimation des Dépenses Impliquées <br /></strong>Les couts de la clinique de Marienia qui ne sont pas remboursés sont : Les frais d’hôpital 20€ par jour ainsi qu’un dépassement d’honoraires de 24€ pour tout acte médical dépassant les 120€. A ce jour nous ne savons pas combien de temps Gaby va devoir rester dans cette clinique, mais la récupération des dommages liés à la moelle épinière est un processus long qui prend souvent des années. Nous sommes déterminés à faire tous ce qui est en notre pouvoir afin que Gaby puisse bénéficier des meilleurs soins et du meilleur des équipements, et ceux pour aussi longtemps que nécessaire. La récolte de fonds n’a pas besoin de se faire en quelques jours, la clinique ne va pas nous facturer immédiatement, et nous pouvons continuer à la supporter comme nous le faisons actuellement.<strong style="font-size:1.0625rem;"><br />Estimate of Costs Involved<br /></strong><a href="https://www.korian.fr/cliniques-de-soins/la-tarification-en-clinique" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The costs of the Marienia Clinic</a>  that are not reimbursed are a €20 daily hospital service fee and a flat-rate fee of €24 for any medical intervention of more than €120. There are also extra rates for individual bedrooms etc. We do not know how long Gaby will need to stay at the clinic, spinal cord recovery is a long process, often taking years. We are determined to do whatever we can to afford for Gaby to continue to benefit from the best care and equipment for as long as is necessary. <p><strong>Être Capable de Marcher et Remonter à Cheval<br /></strong>Gabrielle est une professionnelle du monde de l’équitation, elle a un troupeau de 13 chevaux qui vivent tous un style de vie holistique (pieds nu et sans être rentré en box). C’est une professeur fantastique qui à touchée personnellement la vie de plusieurs grands amoureux des chevaux. Ses livres sur l’équitation Gymnastique et le parage naturel sont exceptionnels. De notre côté nous continuerons à nous occuper de ses chevaux, jusqu’à ce qu’elle puisse revenir à sa passion. Nous pensons que quand Gabrielle aura retrouvée la capacité de marcher et monter elle aura apprit des choses qui pourrons bénéficier aux propriétaires de chevaux partout dans le monde. La perte d’un enfant est probablement la pire épreuve que peut traverser un parent, c’est encore plus vrais pour une maman. Ajouter à cela le fait d’être paralysé serait insurmontable pour la plupart de nous.  Gaby a toujours été une personne incroyablement forte, elle a grandit avec une scoliose qu’elle à vaincu à force de travail et de persévérance, et elle trouvera la force de surmonter cette nouvelle épreuve. Merci.<strong><br /><br />Being Able to Walk and Ride Again <br /></strong>Gabrielle is a professional horsewoman and she has a herd of 13 horses who live a holistic lifestyle, barefoot and stable-free. She is a fantastic teacher and has touched the lives of many horse lovers. Her books about Gymnastic Riding and Natural Trimming are exceptional. We will continue to look after the horses as long as it takes for her to come back to her passion. We do believe that when Gabrielle does recover her ability to walk, and to ride, that she will have learned things that will benefit horse guardians all over the world. The loss of a child is perhaps one of the greatest challenges any mother has to face. To be paralysed in addition to this might be unsurmountable for many people.
