<p>On May 11th, 2026, my 4-year-old son was diagnosed with retinoblastoma. Since then, our lives have been turned upside down as we travel three hours to Philadelphia twice a week for his treatments and check ups.  I am a stay-at-home mom, and my husband is the sole provider for our family. The constant traveling, medical appointments  and related expenses have put us in a difficult financial situation.

<p>We are facing costs for turnpike tolls, Philadelphia parking fees, three different hospital parking fees, gas, and hotel stays for after his chemotherapy appointments. On top of that, the wear and tear on our car from all the traveling has caused several problems that need to be fixed, adding even more expenses. All of this is happening while we try to keep up with our rent, bills, and other necessities.

<p>I am not the type to ask for help, but we truly need it right now. I have no one else to turn to, and any support would mean the world to us. Support My Son’s Cancer Fight

<div>I am writing this fighting the tears but I am here to beg and plead for more help for my parents who are going thru the hardest fight they’ve had to fight. 11 years ago my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and miserable days, she was told the best thing you can hear, “you beat Cancer”!! My bad ass mom kicked Cancers ass :) I thank God because a year later I needed her to hold my hand while my daughter fought Cancer, and also beat it! We all stuck together as a family and won  And now we are forced to relive those hard times but now they are even harder. After my parents literally just gained full guardianship of my niece and nephews (ages 10,11,12 I think lol) moms diagnosis of Lung Cancer has hit us all like a ton of bricks. And most recently a few days ago we were told that the Doctors have to stop chemotherapy after only the one round!? Apparently last time she had cancer the chemo almost killed her. But they had to give it a try again this time but unfortunately my mom’s body just can’t handle it so treatment has stopped at this time. We still have hope in attempting radiation but due to the extent of cancer near her bronchial area it may be toxic so the team of doctors are thinking of everything and anything they can do to help. Besides moms physical pain, the emotional pain she’s going thru is even worse. And her main stress is worrying how her and my dad can survive with limited ss income and take care of 3 pre-teens. We appreciate the donations and support but I’m begging for more! I can’t stand to watch my parents struggle with the worry of all this. Mom needs to fill her days with smiles and laughter, not crying about how to feed the kids or pay the electric. Please share and help if you can! <div>My name is Jessica Walgren and I escaped a Domestic Violence situation in Nov. 2024, breaking up with the father of my boys largely for economic abuse and neglect, as well as every other type of abuse towards the kids, pets, or myself. I was a stay at home mom, doing 90% of the domestic labor alone for 60-90 hours a week while their dad would go to his job and be gone 15 hours a day. Upon the breakup, he moved out (as the sole income) with no warning within a week, and refused to financially support us. He left us with a broken fridge, broken dryer, no renters or car insurance, various bills, as well as running out of firewood for the wood stove, the main heat source. We were living remotely then, at least half an hour to any store or resources beyond monthly food bank. We would have gone hungry if it wasn’t for the fact 2/3 kids ate at school, and we qualified for food stamps/TANF, as well as family and friends. I received a DV grant to assist with relocation expenses and bills.

<div>Since then, I have moved back in with my parents, and have been working 5 nights a week as a delivery driver to keep bills paid myself. The routines we used to have are gone now. They used to love to go to bed and would be asleep in ten minutes with a story, now it’s an all out brawl on the maybe two nights a week I’m there to do it. The entirety of the last 6 months has been spent in a custody battle with my boys’ father. He’s currently overstepping his rights until I have the funds to get a lawyer and have equal representation to fight for my kids.

<div>I have been the one that has been there since day one, the anchor holding them steady in the tempestuous seas of their lives. Clay was born at 28 weeks (2020) and I was with him 12+ hours each day in the NICU for 76 days making sure he came home, while dad went to work and showed up on weekends. I watched teams of professionals work tirelessly day after day to keep breath in his lungs, watched him heal brain bleeds, learn to eat, and light up as well as soothe at the sound of my voice, humming and touch. The hospital covered my food and pumping needs or I would have gone hungry or had to ask family even more than I did already, as he was not supporting me financially. When Cillian was born (2022), we spent two weeks in the NICU, of which his dad was present for two nights, and again, didn’t financially support me. I also had no car available to me, so I was doing miles of walking each day right after being discharged from the hospital each time.

<div>The fight to protect my kids from things I can’t write here, continues- now with the help of the court system as the years of economic abuse have given him a financial hand up while dealing with this drawn out custody battle. I need help getting lawyer money together to keep fighting to protect my cubs the way I’ve had to their whole lives. Please help my boys stay with their mom, they’re being kept from me despite no order in effect to grant him rights to do so.

<div>Hello, my name is Domonique and I’m a super mom of a little boy named Hunter. Hunter was born full term at a ripe 11 lbs. on 5/2/19. When Hunter turned 6 months he was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis type 1 (a rare genetic disorder that neither me, his dad or little brother carry). NF causes benign tumors to grow on the nervous system along with learning disabilities, vision problems and other abnormalities. We’ve monitored Hunter very closely for changes and for the past 4 years, he’s been great until this summer. In June, we did our first MRI to monitor a plexiform neurofibroma on the base on his back. Thankfully it is not attached to the spine but during that MRI we took a peak at his brain and they found an optic nerve pathway glioma. We were told to monitor for any changes and within 6 weeks Hunter lost complete mobility of the right side of his body. He cannot use his hand, arm, or leg. We were not prepared to hear the doctor say, “your son has cancer”. Kids with NF don’t usually get cancer but his brain tumor turned cancerous.

<div>On 8/18/23 we had to rush Hunter to the emergency room and they admitted him for a brain biopsy. We haven’t received the full report from the biopsy but Hunter continues to decline. We were waiting to start a certain medication to reduce the tumor but we have decided to move forward with traditional chemo because of how bad Hunter is struggling.

<div>As many people know, we just added an addition to our family, little Atlas. We used all of our FMLA leave for maternity/paternity leave for the baby. Hunters battle is just beginning. After surgery Monday, he has to do chemo once a week for 15 months. Because of the potential side effects Hunter will not be able to go to school full time so one of us will have to take off of work to be there for him.

Save Iustin  – A little boy fighting cancer needs our help

April has always been the kind of person who puts others first. For over 20 years, she worked as a respiratory therapist, including on the front lines in the ICU during the COVID pandemic. She supported her seven children almost entirely on her own, even working two full-time jobs to make ends meet. When COVID hit, April’s dedication never wavered, but the virus took a devastating toll on her health and her family. She contracted COVID six times, which led to severe complications—her liver doubled in size, she developed kidney cancer, and she became too sick to continue working. As a result, she lost both of her jobs and her pension, and her family’s financial stability crumbled.

 April’s husband also became gravely ill, and both are now living with long-term effects of COVID. Their family of five—including their six-year-old twin boys, who are both deaf, and a seventeen-year-old son—now lives in a 50-year-old trailer after losing their home. The trailer is unsafe, having caught fire twice, and is not properly insulated. They can’t safely use heaters in the winter because the electrical outlets overheat. Despite these hardships, April continues to do everything she can for her family, but the challenges keep mounting. The family struggles to cover food and medical expenses, and the twins’ cochlear devices are essential for their development, but replacing lost devices is extremely costly. April has sold everything of value and relies on high-interest loans just to feed her children.

It devastates her that her boys are deaf and have no chance without their cochlear devices, but she remains hopeful and loving. We had dental surgery and thought we were all good. Sadly the infection spread to his eye. The eye ulcerated and popped. Let me tell you a bit about Kiwi. Kiwi was found by my daughter in a box inside a dumpster right after moving to Edmonton. He was just a tiny little freezing, hungry baby. She took him home and he has been with us ever since. Kiwi  is the most sweetest, gentlist chatty boy ever. I believe he still has lots of life to live yet. That is why I am asking for help. Help Feed Hungry Kids This Winter

Help Jordan and His Boys Find Stability

My name is Stacey, and right now I’m stranded far from home, facing one of the hardest moments of my life. My car broke down and needs repairs, and I can’t make it back to Iowa where my little boy is waiting for me. Tomorrow is his 5th birthday, and I already missed Christmas with him. The thought of missing another special day with my son is breaking my heart. I’ve been doing everything I can to find work, but so far, no one has called me back.

 On top of that, I just missed my car payment, and I’m worried my phone will be cut off next. My phone is the only way I can see my son’s face and talk to him, even if it’s just through a video call. I feel so helpless being stuck here, unable to get home or even reach out to him.

<div>It's very unfortunate that I have to tell this story. My 7-year-old daughter, who loves animals—cats are her favorite—is smart and determined and says hello to every cat she meets. She cares and nurtures her pets, especially Mr. Black, her baby. She saved him as a 2-week-old kitten, gave him bottles of formula, and raised him into a healthy, thriving big boy. He's now 5 months old, and during this past storm, something terrible happened to Baby Black. He came home dragging his leg, unable to stand or walk on his back left foot. As soon as I noticed, I rushed him to the ER. They said he has broken his thigh bone. Surgery can be a long, difficult, and painful drawn-out process and cost 3 to 5 grand and up.

<div>So our options are amputation or rehoming him to a rescue that, unfortunately, are all full within 100 miles. Rehoming him hasn't been successful, and most can't afford the surgery the same way I can't. Leaving it as is to heal can be dangerous, causing infection, chronic pain, and death. So we are looking to help my daughter Madi raise money for amputation surgery. <strong>That's our best bet and only hope.</strong> As a mother, it breaks my heart seeing my baby so upset and helpless and having a kitten suffering and being unable to help. I just can't sit by; I'm determined to find a way to help Madi and Mr. Black.

<div>On December 28, 2023, our 4-month-old premature twins, Gabe and Zeke, were running dangerously high fevers (Gabe reached 103.6°F). Fearing for their health, we rushed them to Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Room. Due to overcrowding, we were placed in an overflow area while trying to soothe our distressed babies.

<div>As we attempted to feed them, we requested warm water to heat their bottles. A nurse returned with a large styrofoam cup filled to the brim with scalding hot water. In the process of passing it to us, the cup spilled on Zeke’s left thigh and knee, causing severe 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Our helpless little boy screamed in pain, yet it took an agonizing hour before he was evaluated for burn treatment.

<div>Zeke was given only bacitracin and a Tylenol suppository before we were discharged, with instructions to seek further care at KU Med in Kansas City the following day. Over the next several weeks, Zeke endured three painful procedures to treat his burns. Since our insurance, SoonerCare (Oklahoma), was considered out-of-state, we were left with a staggering costs in medical bills.

<div>We pursued legal action against Lawrence Memorial Hospital, hoping to hold them accountable, but it looks like without a nurse expert we are losing our case.
</div>
<div>Now, we’re left with crushing medical debt from an injury that should never have happened.

<div>Three beautiful, precious babies, born into her arms- her heart would never be the same after losing her 14 year old daughter, Misty Dawn, in a terrible accident.

<div>This nearly broke her to pieces- she could hardly hold it together inside.. yet she pushed forward for her babies. She always tried to smile no matter what. 

</div>

<div>She raised them to be strong, she them to be brave. My dad child read a medical book by the time he was in 5th grade, helping her study. 

</div>

<div>7 grandchildren came to be and nothing in the world compared to time with granny. She worked so hard! She worked long days healing others, to come home and cook amazing meals, Big enough to feed the whole family.

<div>Rain, hurricane, sleet, or shine, she was always there for her patients. I should add dust storms to that list as well..

<div>Fast forward.

<div>My granny has always been my safe place; I always knew her house was truly home, I could return whenever I needed too. She loved me through the worst and cheered me on through the best of times.

<div>She is my rock. Shes always helping others. Always feeds anyone who is hungry, even if she doesn't nessarily like them.

<div>Tragedy struck again in 2023.

<div>It hit our family so incredibly hard, we still haven't recovered. I dont think we ever really will, to be honest with you.

<div>This is extremely personal, not a lot of people know..

<div>Amber Nicole Shedd passed away on March 20th,2023. She was electrocuted while doing an art project involving fractal burning. It was an awful, horrific, traumatic, day.

</div>

<div>My granny lost another child. As if her heart could handle another loss.

</div>

<div>Our family was so broken hearted, yet she held us all together. She taught us how to do that-

<div>Hold each other when it gets tough.

</div>

<div>My aunt left behind two teenage boys. Their mom was all they knew- she never spent one day away from them. My granny took them in open arms, no questions asked. She barely got any help finding away to feed everyone, or clothe them for the school year.

<div>But she did everything she could.

</div>

<div>She did her best to hold everything together.

</div>

<div>The one thing we all held onto very dearly was my aunts truck and unfortunately, it was totaled in a horrible accident where my granny almost lost her life. That caused even more sorrow for the family. It was hard.

<div>Anyways, I didnt mean to make it this long, but its been a really long, hard couple of years for my granny. Shes been hit with so much loss and now she faces losing the house that, my nana last lived at. She passed here. Her clothes are still in the same spot from when she changed on the day she passed. My granny is devastated to say the least, but the people she is renting from are putting her house on the market. She has no say. My granny not only takes care of my teenage cousins full time, but my handicap brother as well. She does so much for everyone, and she is so well known for her love and compassion, caring for the sick.

Help a Father Rebuild for His Kids

<div>My name is Henry Skinner and I've set this up for the oldest son Matthew and his family. We've received several messages about scamming, everyone suffers, and negative comments. The same could be said for any of these fundraisers but everyone needs help at times and I feel this family needs some help. I find it hard to ask for help as many do and wanted to do this for them as I didn't have the means to fund them myself. <div>Matthew lost his home when his grandmother passed (two years ago now) as he was her main care provider, living with her for the last ten years of her life.  Matt put his life goals on hold to make his grandmother the primary focus of his time. Samantha would be the primary income for the family during this process. For those of you who have helped someone to the end you know what that entails. Anna, the grandmother, had altimers and delusional schizophrenia as well as multiple system atrophy and sundown syndrome. These conditions made for a long and slow end to her life as they gradually wore her down – roughly ten years. She was up at all hours of the day and Matt even found her outside in the yard in winter. Matt devoted himself to his grandmoter and his family equally.

<div>Through all of this Matt also dealt with psoriatic arthritis, since he was twelve, and managed his gout and fibromyalgia.Matt never gave up on her or his family during this time, often taking care of the children as well through this as a father should. This did leave him over stressed and he dealt with depression and therapy the last few years as it was overwhelming for him. To have to care for someone and watch them slowly fade is rough, for a young man in his twenties I couldn't imagine the weight on his shoulders.

<div>Their youngest son Cayde, has been to John Hopkins several times for testing (MRI's, bloodwork) and doctor's apppointments to determine what is wrong with him. He has turned blue / purple while they are watching him and the hospital has not been able to come up with a diagnosis, possibly lupus. He is set to have genetic testing done to see if that can help hone in on his issue and what if any treatment to get him better. Cayde is currently going through physical therapy to help him move around as he had reduced function of his left side and still struggles with use of the arm and leg on that side, even turning his head.

<div>Archer, the third son, is now 4 and endured multiple surgeries on his gentila to allow him to urinate correctly. Additionally, he is still not able to speak, having a delayed ability with minimal words that are understandable, he has also been helped at daycare with sign language to indicate basic needs (hungry, thank you, etc.)

<div>Raylan their second son is 10, and Abel, their first, is 13 and both of these boys has had to help take care of their siblings more than normal for kids of their age, and they have develped their own issues. They are older so manage things better but have still suffered and endured.

<div>Matt and Sam were not able to pay off the reverse mortgage Anna had done, so they couldn't stay there, and Matt, Sam, and the grandkids have lived in my home since. The intent was for Matt to take his inheritance and granted plot of land (just on the far side of Anna house) and work to get their first home built on that lot. This would give them the house they needed as a family of six, and keep them close to other family(about 3 houses down). After dealing with the county to get the needed approvals, Matt's inheritance funds are gone, but they are able to build there and have a house design approved and submitted. This house is a four bedroom home of 1600 square feet. To make matters worse, I destroyed their only family vehicle in a treeing accident, and we have been letting them use our SUV as needed for family outings. Having added to their troubles I felt compelled to create this for them as they would not take this step themselves.

<div>Tammie (my wife) has worked hard with them to find a builder and all the needed services to get this house started. The builder is an Amish man from St. Mary's. Their septic company is from Calvert, and the water well, HVAC, and other teams are all locals as we wanted to keep business within the area. I'm hoping this will generate the money needed to get them in a position to move forward and also put them in a position where they can fund the remainder. They are on hold currently as they need funds for the initial things; lot clearing, spetic, water well, and the foundation. This should hopefully allow them to show enough progress to get the loan needed for the rest.

<div>With the passing of Anna, Matt has put his focus back on his family's needs and has been working for the county government now as a groundskeeper at one of the local parks and keeps an eye out for better jobs. He's well-liked there, and they've even tried to help get him a full-time position there or at another park. Samantha, his wife, has been working at a local daycare for some time and enjoys the staff and kids there. While they both work, in today's economy, they're not able to afford to buy a house that meets the needs of a family of six, so the option to build their own home seemed like the best route in terms of funding. In looking at loans for their design, they found out that they can't qualify for what they need to build a new home.

<div>Matt and Sam have endured a lot over the years, from this and marriage itself, and stayed the course together. They struggled mentally, physically, financially and spiritually and still move forward. I can't imagine being a father of four and taking care of an elderly person at the same time, for that alone he has my praise and I'm proud of him – most couldn't do it. Sam has pushed to support them through this all, while taking care of the kids and the housekeeping that comes with a family. To work full time and manage a household is hard, again very proud of her for these sacrifices and her commitment to the family and for supporting Matt's need to help his grandmother. I don't know of another young couple that has endured so much and for so long.

She wakes every morning with a splitting pressure headache but manages to put on the smile and show her family she is ok and fighting another day! If you know her, you know her heart hasn’t changed one bit. She’s still the same woman who has spent her life lifting others up, feeding those who were hungry, and opening her door to anyone who needed a safe place to land.

<div>When she was given the diagnosis originally she was petrified. Since she has been fighting an autoimmune disease since being diagnosed in 2006. She was scarred. Chemo she has seen go wrong more than ever going right. Who is to say it would kill the tumor before killing her. She is already compromised. Radiation could leave her with burns on 65% of her face and have symptoms arise for years to come. Surgery was out since the images showed that her GBM has blood vessel access and rotted to the brain.

<div>She isn’t a good candidate for proton therapy because of the autoimmune disease. After a blood biopsy she was also given the news that the standard of care in VA wants her to have chemo but only has a 9% success rate. 
</div>
<div>Things seemed impossible.

<div>She has had magnetic vibrational therapy! Applied for the amazing Optune machine. That will give her the magnetic vibrational therapy remotely!

After we moved to Greenfield, Iowa in May for Michael’s new pastoral position at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, we began noticing that Micah (our 5-year-old) was falling a lot. We went to our local doctor and after some lab work we werereferred to a pediatric neurologist in Des Moines. During that appointment Micah had a genetic test. On February 9th, 2024, our family was given the results of the genetic test, and it was confirmed that he has

<div>Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. On February 13th, we headed to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital to meet with a team of neuromuscular doctors, nurses, and physical therapy. We found out that Micah has fast progressing muscular dystrophy and he is already weaker than most boys his age that have Duchenne.

<div>Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a genetic disorder characterized by the progressive loss of muscle. It is a multi-systemic condition, affecting many parts of the body, which results in deterioration of the skeletal, cardiac (heart), and pulmonary (lung) muscles.

<div>After being denied by our insurance, Micah's appeal went through, and he was approved for Gene Therapy. Gene therapy helps boys with Duchenne produce dystrophin and extend their years of ambulation. This is not a cure, but it is a breakthrough treatment. The date is set for April 11th in Iowa City. The infusion itself will take about 1 hour. However, we will need to stay near the hospital for 2-3 weeks (in isolation) in case Micah has any bad side effects, since we live close to 3 hours away. He will have a lot of labs initially to monitor his liver and other organs that may be affected. After the extended

<div>stay, we will need to return to Iowa City once a week for monitoring and labs.

<div>As we navigate the next few months (and years) we are looking to God and trusting him through our trials and weakness. None of this is a surprise to God. As we've done our research, we've understood how meaningful each day and year ahead with Micah is and will be. We are doing what we can to explain everything to the boys. Micah sometimes will ask “when I am in a wheelchair will I be able to do... ?” Other conversations we have are “when I grow up will I be able to...?” Or “if I’m in a wheelchair how will I be able to go down to watch the tv in the basement?” Or “when I grow up, I’m going to drive a Lamborghini and work at Caseys”. Sometimes the conversation leads to spiritual things like “I’m going to be okay because Jesus lives in my heart”.

Micah Norby - Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

<div>Hello all!  My name is Shadam Broderick.  I have six children and a beautiful wife.  Her name is Celeste.  We have been married for 15 hard but wonderful years.  She is who keeps us on track, keeps us moving forward and keeps us positive.  Earlier this year (and only 36) she was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer.  Of course this was a huge shock to us and, as you can imagine, quite the blow to Celeste and her overall outlook on life.  Her views have since returned to normal (somewhat), but our routines have taken a drastic blow.

All four boys have asked to stay and Lori has courageously stepped up to care for all of these children in addition to her two boys that she was already raising as a single mother. Truth be told, most would consider Lori to be the most selfless person, always looking to provide for the needs to others.

<div>Likely you have heard the devastating news that the Williamson Family lost their family home to a fire on Thursday, May 23rd. At about noon that day, Jen was home for lunch and Katie was taking a nap when someone started banging on their front door. When Jen answered the door, the stranger was yelling "SMOKE! GARAGE!" Jen and Katie immediately moved their cars, got their black lab Sam out, and found the garage, and then most of their house was engulfed in flames. They are forever grateful to that Angel who knocked on their door and to all the first responders who fought to save their home.

<div>With the help of a friend in food service, combined with dry food I provided, I have been able to feed them every night, rain or shine.

<div>The total number of cats I feed right now is 34. They depend on me and come running when they see me pull up.

<p>Dear Friends, <br />Circumstances force us to ask you for help and support. <br />Our six-year-old son Seryozha is diagnosed with a very rare genetic disease – The <strong>Nuclear factor-kappa B Essential Modulator(NEMO) deficiency syndrome.</strong>
</p>

<p>It affects the immune system and makes the body susceptible to frequent and serious infections that can be severe and affect virtually any part of the body.<strong> This syndrome is not well known in Russia where we live, it is also almost unknown in the world.</strong> <strong>There are only 50 known case in the world, of which four in Russia</strong>. Of these four kids in Russia only three are alive, the forth just recently died after transplant procedure at the Dmitry Rogachev National Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology in Moscow. <br />This genetic disease is dangerous, because the carrier is susceptible to any disease, including oncological. The NEMO Syndrome can be only cured through stem cell transplant procedure. <strong>There are just two hospitals in the world that can do this procedure to kids</strong> affected by the Nemo Syndrome – in London and <strong>Cincinnat</strong>i. <br /><br />We have been evaluated in both clinics, and <strong>they are ready to treat Seryozh</strong>a. Their treatment will include everything from finding a stem cell donor, to stem cell transplantation and a year of rehabilitation at their facility. We have received their cost estimate. <br /><strong>The full treatment costs about $1.5 million, excluding travel and lodging.</strong> <br />Unfortunately, we do not have even a small portion of this amount, that is why we are asking everybody – friends and strangers – for help. If you have planned to spend any money on charity or to help others, please consider spending this amount on saving our son. <br /><strong>We cannot save him without your help!</strong> <br /><br />Seryozha is a very smart and kind boy, he loves different activities from dancing to playing chess. Help little boy to get his treatment

<div>Hi, my name is Julie and I'm fundraising towards an operation for my cat.

<div>His name is Buddy, we adopted him in the late months of 2024. When we got him, he had been found outside with his brother, starving and freezing. Their whiskers had fallen off due to the conditions they were found in.
</div>
<div>Buddy settled in within no time, becoming the cuddliest and most vocal kitten I've ever had. His whiskers are now fully grown, and he's got a lil tummy from being a very hungry boy.
</div>
<div>But two months ago, I noticed something strange with Buddy's left eye. It had become slightly larger, just enough to be noticeable, and a milky film had started developing over his pupil. Within two days his eye became much bigger and shut, swollen and massive.
</div>
<div>The vet diagnosed Buddy with a possible ulcer, but also glaucoma, which she said was not seen often in kittens. Medical treatment with drops and oral medications began as there was a goal to possibly save his eye and diminish the size/pressure. After two follow ups, it was decided that his eye was not salvageable, and he was going to need an enucleation surgery.

<div>The silver lining in all of this- Buddy is the happiest kitten ever. He's never seemed in pain, he's become more and more playful, and he's got the appetite of a large dog. The eye is just, there, large and alien-like, but we really need to remove it so there's no chance of anything spreading to his good eye.

<div>I won't lie, funds are a little tight at the moment as I've recently come back to work after a work related incident left me with a painful concussion. I'm fundraising to cover some of the cost of the operation for Buddy, which the estimate is 1847.32$. This includes his neuter (182$), which I fully intend to cover myself.

Buddy's Eye Removal Surgery

<div>I really hate asking for help, but snow is coming sooner than expected and I'm scared to drive my car on snowy roads. All my tires are completely bald as you can see in the pictures. I really thought I would have started my new job by now so i could start saving for tires, but I haven't received a start date yet, and we are supposed to get snow as early as November 18th.

<div>What worrys me is that the roads in neighborhoods aren't salted, only the main roads are, and my daughter attends preschool thats located in a neighborhood, and my sons bus stop is also located in a neighborhood. Im not comfortable driving, especially with my kids in the car if these roads are bad.

<div>I would have my boyfriend take the kids, but his power steering is bad and his car is incredibly hard to turn, so I'm extremely worried about him driving on snowy roads as well.

<div>We have been struggling financially pretty bad for a while now, but its been at its worst these past few months. I skip meals everyday just to make sure my kids get enough food, yes we get food boxes but my boys especially eat A LOT of food.

While we’re thankful we have these boys to carry around his smile everyday of their lives, their mother who was caring for them has been arrested for child abuse and these poor babies have suffered enough. They are currently with their nanny and grumps and they are safe! Blake’s mother and father (Bill &amp; Bridgett Carroll) will be fighting to keep custody and while they have the funds to care for the boys, help is always going to make it easier!!
