My good friend, Imran Muwembe, is the founder of Rakai Vulnerable Home Center in Uganda and has always put others before himself. Years ago, while working in South Africa, Imran was struck by a car and suffered a serious leg injury. Surgeons saved his leg with steel plates, and after receiving a modest settlement, Imran chose to return to Uganda and use the funds to start a home for orphaned children, rather than rebuild his own life. Doctors advised that the plates be removed after four years, but Imran could not afford the procedure. Now, he is in extreme pain, with severe leg swelling, sacral nerve complications, and a constant fever. Specialists warn that without urgent surgery, the damage could become permanent. Funds raised will cover Imran’s surgery and essential hospital costs. X-rays and medical updates will be shared for full transparency. Imran has spent his life caring for vulnerable children—today, he needs help from the community to get the urgent medical care he deserves. Your support can make all the difference.
