Hi, I'm Tracy Lystra, and I'm launching this GoFundMe to support an amazing rescuer who lost her husband last night.

My dear friend Anzu, suffered an unimaginable loss last night. Five armed men stormed into her home and shot her husband dead in front of their four young children. No one knows why this tragedy occurred and as friends and fellow rescuers we are having a difficult time wrapping our heads around Anzu and her family’s horrific loss.

I am trying to figure out how I can most help Anzu and her family. I know that she will need funds to bury her husband as well as to meet the fundamental needs for her family.

For those that aren’t aware, Anzu does most of the transporting of Saving Huey Foundation’s cases. She goes out any time of the day or night to pick up a case for us. I have seen her climb down ravines, go into dark alleyways, and many more instances, to save an animal. Anzu does all of the home cooking for our hospitalized animals, and brings them any needed supplies. All of the videos that our followers see of our Mexico cases are taken by Anzu. When puppies May and Mike needed life saving blood transfusions, Anzu went out and searched for a qualified blood donor. In addition to everything else, she is currently caring for Silas and see him through Parvo.

I cannot say enough about Anzu. I respect her greatly. I hope that our friends and followers will help this amazing woman and her family. Shane and I will be making the first donation.
