<div>For years, Popit4Slim, lovingly known as “Slim,” has been more than just a DJ in Oakland, a city on the east side of the San Francisco Bay. Undoubtedly, through his love of Hip-Hop and R&amp;B and his ability to bring beautiful people together from all walks of life, Slim has truly helped shape and energize the Bay Area DJ scene. Whether behind the turntables at a packed event or connecting with people through music and community, Slim has always been about love, unity, and good energy.

<div>In February, Slim was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. Since then, he has been fighting with everything he has. The journey has included hospital stays, colon procedures, constant medical appointments, and ongoing pain as he undergoes treatment.

<div>Yet through it all, Slim has remained the person we all know and love, calm, grounded, full of self-love, and strong in spirit. His resilience has been nothing short of inspiring. Standing with Slim: Love and Unity for His Battle

On March 16, 2026, our beloved fur baby, OJJ Madrid, was diagnosed with carcinoma, a type of cancer, and now needs your help. OJJ first showed up on our doorstep in February 2015, and from that moment, he became a cherished member of our family. He just turned 11 years old, and we are hoping and praying for more precious time with him. The veterinarian has recommended that we see an oncologist next month to determine the best course of action for his treatment.

 We are reaching out to ask for your support in covering OJJ's current and upcoming veterinary bills. The costs for consultations, treatments, and ongoing care are significant, and any contribution will make a meaningful difference for OJJ. Many of you know that we recently went through a similar heartbreak in November 2025 when we lost his brother, Kosey, to kidney failure. <div>On Nov. 25, 2025, our fur cat baby, <strong>Kosey</strong>, was diagnosed with a kidney infection. We took him to our vet where he was admitted for treatment and IV since he wasn't eating. We adopted Kosey when he was 1 or 2 years old from my nephew/niece, Rob and Cassandra. He is now 13 years old. He is our baby, and we are praying and staying hopeful that he will get better and give us more years with him. <font color="#333333">Hey friends,<br /><br />A little bit ago, I found out that I had a tumor growing inside my uterus. My doctor said that it is currently about the size of a 7th month pregnancy. And I was told that I needed surgery to have it removed. The biggest obstacle was trying to figure out how I was going to pay a $41,000 surgery upfront and then pay for my additional expenses that come with surgery. To be honest I was embarrassed that as a business owner, I wasn’t successful enough to be able to pay for such a huge medical need. Thankfully, because this tumor was taking such a toll on my body, my insurance was able to cover almost all of my expenses. I however, still have to pay the remaining expenses. This fund was created to cover those medical expenses, (shown here in the photo) and any loss of income (I’ve been told my recovery time will be 8 weeks?) Please continue to join us in prayer, and that the Lord will provide all our needs but also help provide comfort in this really difficult time, for healing and that my surgeon can help find more answers through the biopsy on my tumor during my surgery. </font>

His name is Tiger and he is a loving and calm 1 year old cat who got its tail degloved. We are not sure how it could have happened but because of its precise and almost perfect circle cut around its tail, we believe it was human-made. (I already reported the incident to my county's animal humane society/SPCA).

I have been doing my research and trying to find other vets around Redwood City, but they all are estimating the surgery to be around $2k-$6k. Additionally, the doctor's have said that because he doesn't have enough skin to close the wound, I would have to take him to the vet daily to change his bandages and get treatment; which are another $200-$500 dollar additional to the surgery.

On the morning of December 29th @ 7:00AM we got a call from our neighbors upstairs that our downstairs residence caught on fire. The neighbors told us that they heard one of their dogs, Saweetie, barking and then saw smoke coming out of the windows. I was fortunate that my room was not affected but majority of my brother and Diana's possessions were destroyed by the fire and Saweetie also did not make it. The firefighters tried to bring her back but she succumbed to smoke inhalation. My brother and Diana love their dogs and having one of them pass away hurt especially more.

Recently my wonderful mom Marcia, was diagnosed with Cancer and this has defiantly devastated our family! My mom has always been a strong, independent, hard working women with her own smal business. <br /><br />However, now she is no longer able to physically work to support her small business of Housecleaning service. My brother Ary, sister Lorena, and I, as well as some of our very dear friends, have been doing all we can to help support her during this very difficult time. <br /><br />Our friends recently came up with a fundraiser to help my mom however, we must postpone the event to a later date.
