We are so grateful for all the generous support Judy received last year for her dental care. Because of your help, she has been able to receive much of the care she initially needed, including several cleanings and fillings. However, a large portion of her most recent dental care was not covered by her dental insurance, and she now has an outstanding bill. Along with paying this bill and another year of dental insurance, Judy has some other important health needs. Her vision is changing, and she has been postponing a visit to her optometrist until she can afford the new lenses she needs, which are not covered by her insurance. Additionally, Judy’s Medicare Advantage plan that previously covered her mental health care has denied coverage since the beginning of this summer. Despite repeated efforts to appeal the decision and have the denial fully reviewed, the coverage has not been restored. This has been really hard for Judy, affecting her personally and in her work. We are expanding this fundraiser to help Judy with these important health-related expenses and access to the care she needs. We are setting a new goal of $4,000 to help cover these expenses and give Judy some much-needed breathing room. If you can donate any amount and share this fundraiser, it would really mean a lot.
