What they care about

I’ve been raising money for my brother Livi. We’re in the U.S. because his treatment isn’t available in Australia, and we have to pay the medical costs ourselve

An Update on Livi ❤️ The last couple of days have been really difficult for Livi and our family. Yesterday, Livi had another session of radiation on the Gold Coast. Unfortunately, afterwards he experienced extremely severe headaches, and we had to take him to Byron Bay Hospital, where doctors gave him fentanyl to help manage the pain. Livi is continuing to deteriorate and is now struggling to speak at all. He’s incredibly weak, so we decided to give him a break from radiation today. Despite everything, we managed to do something special for him today. We took Livi up to the Gold Coast to meet a group of Instagram and TikTok creators who make funny skits and videos that he absolutely loves. They very generously gave up their time to come and meet him, and we’re so grateful. Even though Livi can barely speak, we know how much it meant to him. We’re continuing to take things one day at a time and trying to give Livi as many special moments as possible. Thank you to everyone for the continued love, support, donations and prayers. It means the world to our family. ❤️ Please keep Livi in your prayers. ❤️
A Heartbreaking Update on Olivier ❤️ This is an incredibly difficult update for our family to share. Unfortunately, Olivier’s condition has continued to deteriorate, and things are really not looking good right now. He is now unable to walk, talk, roll over in bed by himself, or even drink water properly. The simplest things that we all take for granted have become incredibly difficult for him. It is absolutely heartbreaking watching someone so young, strong, and full of life go through this. We are now going to try radiation treatment in the hope that it can help him, but we know the situation is extremely serious. Right now, Olivier needs all the love, strength, support, and prayers he can possibly get. We are asking everyone, wherever you are in the world, to please keep him in your thoughts and pray for him. He is only 17 years old and has already fought harder than anyone should ever have to. We don’t know what the coming days and weeks will bring, but we are doing everything we possibly can for him and holding on to every bit of hope. Please continue to share Olivier’s story, send him messages of support, and keep praying for a miracle. Every donation, message, prayer, and act of kindness means more to our family than words can express. Thank you to everyone who has stood by Olivier throughout this journey. We need you now more than ever. ❤️ With love, The Eddington Family ❤️
Update on Olivier ❤️ Unfortunately, we have some heartbreaking news to share. After receiving Olivier’s latest results, things are not looking as positive as we had hoped. Sadly, the treatment he received in the United States has not worked as well as we were hoping. Olivier is really struggling at the moment. His condition has continued to worsen, and he is now having difficulty with even the simplest things, including walking, talking, eating, and now even drinking water. As a family, we have made the difficult decision not to return to America for the time being, as Olivier is simply too unwell to travel. It’s been an incredibly difficult time for Olivier and our whole family. We had so much hope for this treatment, and receiving these results has been absolutely devastating. Right now, our main priority is keeping Olivier as comfortable as possible, surrounding him with love, and spending precious time together. We want to thank everyone who has continued to support Olivier, send messages, donate, and follow his journey. The love and kindness we’ve received mean more to us than words can explain. We will continue to keep everyone updated. Thank you for standing by Olivier through everything. ❤️
Update on Livi ❤️ This week has been incredibly difficult for Livi. He’s really struggling with even the most basic things, like walking, talking, eating, drinking water, standing up and moving around on his own. The treatment has really taken a toll on his body, and it’s heartbreaking seeing him struggle to do things that used to come so naturally to him. He’s been through so much over the past few weeks, and right now even the smallest things are a massive challenge for him. We’re all just hoping he can regain some strength and start feeling a little better. It’s been an incredibly tough time for Livi and our whole family. We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has donated, shared his story or sent messages of support. The amount of love Livi has received has been unbelievable, and it genuinely means so much to our family. Please keep Livi in your thoughts. ❤️
Update on Livy ❤️ We’re so happy to share that Livy is doing a lot better! He’s finally back home in Australia and has been able to catch up with all his friends, which has been amazing for him. He’s still having some difficulty speaking and walking, but he’s slowly getting stronger every day. His body is starting to feel better, and we’re seeing some really positive improvements in his recovery. After everything he’s been through over the past few weeks, it’s incredible to see him back home, smiling and spending time with the people he loves. We still have a long road ahead, but we’re so grateful for how far he’s come. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared his story, or sent messages of support. It truly means the world to Livy and our family. ❤️
Hi everyone, We wanted to share some really positive news about Livi. He’s feeling a lot better and is continuing to improve each day. He still needs a wheelchair at times to get around, and his balance isn’t quite back to normal yet, but he has started walking more on his own. He was even able to get out, go to the gym, and move around a little, which has been amazing to see after everything he has been through. Tomorrow, Livi is hopefully flying back home to Australia for a couple of weeks to rest, recover, and spend some time with family. After the break, he will need to return to UNC Children’s Hospital in North Carolina to continue his treatment. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has donated, shared his story, sent messages, and supported our family. There is still a long road ahead, but seeing Livi making progress like this means everything to us. Thank you so much for continuing to support Livi. ❤️
Update on Oliver Eddington ❤️ Dear friends, Today brought some really encouraging news. Oliver has been discharged from intensive care and is now back on the paediatric ward. He is continuing to make progress each day. He can now walk with the help of one or two people, he is able to swallow again, and he has started speaking a few words. He still has a long way to go. He is struggling to feed and dress himself without help, and there are still many challenges ahead, but seeing him regain more strength and independence every day means so much to us. After such a frightening few days, we are incredibly grateful to see Oliver moving in the right direction and getting a little stronger each day. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent messages, shared his story, donated, prayed for him, or simply kept him in your thoughts. The amount of love and support Oliver and our family have received has been incredible. We’ll continue to keep everyone updated as he recovers. ❤️
Today’s update on Livi ❤️ Livi is slowly making progress. He is still really struggling to talk and can’t move very well yet, but today he was able to walk a little, which was a huge step for him. He is starting to make more noises and can open his eyes, but he is still in a lot of pain and is feeling really sad with everything he is going through. We are just taking it day by day and hoping he keeps getting stronger. Hopefully, as he improves, he will be able to get back to posting on TikTok soon because I know how much all of the support has meant to him. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared, messaged, and supported Livi and our family. It genuinely means more than you know. ❤️
