<div>Hello everyone, my name is Melissa and I’m writing this with a heart full of love and urgency for my husband, Paul.

<div>Paul is 47 years old, a devoted father, my soulmate, and truly the kindest, gentlest man you could ever meet. Just a few months ago, our world was turned upside down when Paul was diagnosed with stage 4 tonsil cancer. It came completely out of the blue. Despite the shock, Paul bravely underwent intensive radiotherapy in the hope of beating it. He gave everything he had to the treatment, but heartbreakingly, it was the only option he was offered. We were told he wasn’t suitable for chemotherapy.

<div>After a short period of hope, Paul’s health began to decline. He now has visible swelling on one side of his face and neck that worsens each day, extreme fatigue, constant pain, and severe trismus (difficulty opening his jaw). He struggles to lie down comfortably due to the pressure, and eating or speaking has become painful. It is devastating to watch this illness chip away at his strength and dignity.

<div>We’ve been told there is nothing more the NHS can offer, only palliative care. But we are not giving up.

<div>We recently had a consultation with a clinic in Germany offering dendritic cell therapy, an immunotherapy treatment designed to help the body’s own immune system recognise and fight cancer cells. While this isn’t a guaranteed cure, it could slow the spread of the disease and improve Paul’s quality of life, giving us more precious time together. That means more hugs, more laughter, and more moments with our children.

Help Us Give Paul More Time

<div>On the 31st May Marie and her 3 children’s lives were turned upside down with the devastating news that Patrick had suffered a major stroke and needed life threatening brain surgery, Patrick is currently in ITU in Oxford on a Ventilator. He has been surprising us every day with the fight he has in him and as we all know this is for his wife and three children! We still do not know what the future holds for Pat, but what we do know is it is a long long road ahead for Marie and family as they face the uncertainty of the weeks and months to come, they need all the support love and encouragement they can get. As many of you know Pat is self employed, and his stroke means he will be unable to work for a very long time. Any donations no matter how small will help ease some of the financial pressure and allow Marie to focus on what matters most, being by Patrick’s side and supporting their children through this difficult time. <div>Hi Everyone. My name is Sunita and I never thought I’d be on this site raising for my darling dad. It’s been a tough few years for dad, in 2021 he went through major open heart surgery, where he fought and with complications and being such a scary time, he came through with many months of rehabilitation to get himself strong again and bring himself back to where he can start to have a life again.
</div>
<div>a few years down the line, we were overjoyed that day was finally back at work, on light duties, going slow and taking it easy as much as he could, getting on and dealing with his health and a few other issues but just being his beautiful selfless and hardworking self.
</div>
<div>fast forward to 2024 and with tests ongoing throughout and then onto mid 2025, our family were hit with the devastating news that dad was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer - MDS - and not only that, but where his condition is classed as high risk and where dad has a RARE tissue type.
</div>
<div>There is no cure for this and with his age and other conditions, time is against us and bills are stacking up. It’s been very stressful and sad sad times for us all. With my mum still working on and off and doing what she can whilst also taking care of dad and taking time to go to appointments and hospital sessions and treatments, and dad working my light duties to be able to pay the bills, medical bills and to survive.
</div>
<div>I just wanted to start this page to try and raise some funds for the below few reasons :

<div>1. any flights out to India and other countries to raise awareness and get swabbing for potential donors to save dad. 
</div>
<div>2. help create some amazing memories for dad whilst he fights this awful disease.  This is most important where he can enjoy his life as much as he can. 
</div>
<div>3. help with medical bills and insurance as he’s very sick and still working but where this is very tough and hard on his body and self. 
</div>
<div>4. to give dad the best times ahead (whatever that may hold) where he can to be able to spoil him and show him how loved he is. I’m selling things to raise what I can but also with two little ones an a home and own bills, life is hard and London life is even more complicated.

<div>Words are not enough to be able to explain just how important my dad is to me and to us and where I wish I could be with him 24/7 and even take this horrible disease away from

<div>him and swap places. I cannot bear this year already and all we need is a stranger now to save dad in the form of a stem cell donor but proving tricky. Time is against us and we don’t want this disease to progress to AML.

<div>This news has been absolutely Devastating for my family and I and we are working against a clock right now.

<div>My dad has an infectious personality, kindness, love and big heart, and just a great loving and selfless man. He is Nana to my two beautiful angels and has a loving and devoted wife with this year being 50yrs married and me and my brother as well. He has SO much to look forward to this year onwards and he deserves all the happiness in Life xxx

<div>So, writing this I am in tears, but the reason I am on here is to inform that the only chance of survival for my daddy is a stem cell transplant. This in our community is rare but I know we can work tidy her and find one!
