<div>Avec notre amie Murielle, qui elle vit à Toronto, nous avons décidé d’ouvrir cette cagnotte pour aider notre meilleure amie, Sariaka, qui vit à Madagascar afin de la supporter dans son parcours de guérison.

<div>À seulement 41 ans, elle a été diagnostiquée pour un cancer du sein en décembre 2024. Remplie de vie, d’espoir et de courage, elle ne lâche pas le combat.

<div>Après plusieurs séances de chimiothérapie débutant en Janvier 2025, suivie d’une mastectomie en mai 2025, il

<div>est temps de poursuivre les soins avec des séances de radiothérapie (25 séances au total) qui debuteront en août.

<div>My name is Vola. I live in Montreal.
</div>
<div>Together with our friend Murielle, who lives in Toronto, we decided to start this fundraiser to help our best friend, Sariaka, who lives in Madagascar, and support her on her healing journey.
</div>

<div>At just 41 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2024. Full of life, hope, and courage, she is not giving up the fight.
</div>

<div>After several chemotherapy sessions starting in January 2025, followed by a mastectomy in May 2025, it is now time to continue treatment with radiotherapy sessions (a total of 25 sessions), which will begin in August.
</div>

<p>Over the years, many of you have had the chance to get to know the BIG, tough guy…with the HUGE heart. ..Rufus Carter! <br /><br />Whether you call him Rufus or simply by his last name, "Carter"...you’ve shared lots of great memories, laughs, and around the world travel experiences. <br /><br />On Saturday, October 22, while being out on a world tour with a client, Carter found himself in a Chicago hospital and faced with unexpected news. After undergoing tests to determine the cause of his abdominal pain and extreme exhaustion, Carter was faced with a diagnoses of cancer -- cholangiocarcinoma. <br /><br />It is with love, hope, and faith that we started this campaign to help support Carter as he undergoes medical treatment. <br /><br />In the coming days and weeks, Carter will be meeting with oncologists to develop the best treatment plan. And, while he is certainly a strong guy, we want to surround him with support in this season of unknowns. At this time, his energy and focus needs to be on his health, first and foremost.  <br /><br /><strong>Many people have reached out and asked how they can help.</strong> <br /><br />First, and foremost, we ask that you PRAY. We believe in the power of prayer (Mark 11:22 – 24), and we know that God is a healer!<br /><br />We also know that Carter’s fight will require ongoing medical treatment and care. We ask that you consider making a financial contribution to help offset medical expenses.
