An update on Jono and a special fundraising evening on 10th October.
We wanted to share a little update on Jono, and also let you know about a special fundraising evening we are organising for him next month.
In the past week, Jono has moved from the spinal unit to a rehabilitation facility, an important next step in his journey. He is settling in and adjusting to life there as he begins this new stage of his rehabilitation.
Aoife and Jono have been so moved by the extraordinary support that he has received through this fundraiser. We wanted to do something ourselves to help keep that support going, so on Saturday 10th October we are bringing together a wonderful group of friends, musicians and performers for An Evening with SisterWitch & Friends – A Fundraiser for Jono Doyle.
SisterWitch is the creative project we run together, and for this evening we are very lucky to be joined by Niamh Farrell, Lōwli, Laura Ryder, Mark and Laura Kavanagh, all of whom are generously giving their time and talents to support Jono.
There will be music, song, story and a little magic, but above all, it will be a chance for friends, family and the wider community to come together for Jono.
All proceeds from the evening will go directly to Jono’s GoFundMe campaign, helping to support him and Aoife as he continues his rehabilitation and adapts to the changes ahead.
We are also incredibly grateful to Portobello Community Hall, who have generously provided the venue for the evening.
Saturday, 10 October | 7:00–8:30pm
Portobello Community Hall, Dublin 8

Thank you, as always, to everyone who has donated, shared the campaign, sent messages and supported Jono. Your kindness and generosity continue to mean so much.
We would love to see you on the 10th. And if you can’t join us, sharing the event with friends, family or anyone who might like to come along would be a huge help.
